So fun fact, the fans kept asking for more episodes, so the creator of this series started to satirize that, the audience is Paul...at episode 8 and beyond at least (the Paul mask). Egging on Karl, taking things to greater extremes because they kept demanding it, driving Karl (now a stand in for the animator) off the deep end...symbolically that is and showed the audience what they wanted, rather than many of the same basic joke skipping to the logical extremes the series would have to eventually go to with such demands.

That would explain even Carl going "there's nothing left to do!" Wirh the paul mask still going "you need to finish your work carl"

@@OneLilSpark I always took "You need to finish your work" to be Carl's crumbling psyche telling him that his global genocide can't be complete until he takes out the last remaining survivor: himself.

@@Subatomicfish Well, it used to be either Paul forgiving Carl, or Carl forgiving himself but I guess that the series that ended on Carls death for 10 years changed all that, huh?

@@Alkavi_Ch even before the epilogue how was there literally any indication that any character was forgiving the horrific monstrous actions that ended the world, or if you didn’t take that violence so literally, was at least abusive actions towards Paul?

I know this is 9 months but its always nice to see someone react to the absolutely fantastic series. Oh and even tho some people have already said this but there is now a epilogue and its well worth watchin especially after watchin episode 1 to 12 of Llamas with hats

The animator behind these is from San Diego and it always felt weird to see the backgrounds look like places that I recognized the inspiration for.

as someone who watched episode 100 when it aired i can confindantly say this is completely false there is absolutely no reference to llama's with hats or Ponies in hats the Mlp parody of llama's in hats. not one.
