Llangollen and Worlds End - epic Welsh singletrack in the vicinity of Llandegla
Llangollen has a lot going for it. A stunning valley, beautiful little town nestling on the banks of the River Dee (Afon Dyfrdwy in Welsh) and surrounded by stunning fells that are home to some incredible riding. One Giant Leap DH tracks on one side of the valley and very close to the infamous Llandegla.
Between the two, however, is some utterly stunning trails for those willing to go exploring, including beautiful flowing singletrack and a fair few sections of challenging trails.
The four of us couldn't have picked a better day, the weather being perfect for riding and the ground being dry but not loose and dusty.

Yep, and the thing is that when you find them, you are unlikely to ever bother with Degla again 😃

@@Stopadoodledoo Just grabbed your route and plan on doing it over the weekend. Had a look at your others and surprised I didn’t see Beast and Spud when you were over Ladybower side of things. The routes you do in the lakes look good too and have inspired the boys to have a look, especially with the season change.

You'll love it, the whole loop is fantastic. Saying that, if the weather is like it was on Saturday, the first descent may be a bit dicey (see today's video 😂)

@@everready_mtb I always park up on the Panorama and ride it anti-clockwise. You wouldn't want to ride UP the escarpment trail as that would be a total waste of over a mile of sublime singletrack

It really is mate, and can be extended very easily to take in the masts run above Degla (or a loop of Degla too if you’re feeling fit - makes it a big ride!). I have recorded it a few times on Strava, you should be able to find me on there easily as I added Stopadoodledoo to my name on there 👍

Footpaths mate. We always give way to everyone though and to be honest, it’s very rare you see anyone anyway other than a handful of other mountain bikers

@@Stopadoodledoo what a loop had a cracking day yesterday I reckon it will probably be better late spring early Autumn when the ferns arnt as prominent. That first decent I found to be the most technical of the ride, but the escarpe the scariest lol how you ride as fast as you do along there il never know 🤟
