No, only one appeal for each team would just ruin the point of VAR. The FA cup and England should follow the Bundesligas example of using the VAR system, only using it on red card or goal decisions, and only using it on decisions that the referee was completely unsure on.

I agree, like each team/coach has 1 maybe 2 challenges (similar to tennis) per game to get VAR involved. Cant be done every second moment. Like Chelsea vs United last week. We could've had a VAR challenge with Morata offside call, and it would've been changed to a goal.

Law states that if contact carries on into the box (which it did) a penalty must be awarded. I think one of the main problems is Football fans not knowing the laws of the game, making it a lot harder for referees.

Okay,so if you're going to use VAR at least do it right. I mean the Portuguese league doesn't do it perfectly, but at least the main referee always asks to look at the video himself instead of just listening to the others talking in his ear. Instead of VAR, just have a system whereby each team can challenge up to 2 decisions made by the referee. If they get it wrong, they lose a challenge. Get 2 wrong and they can't challenge a referee decision anymore. The VAR people reviewing the decision should do it very quickly, and only overturn the decision if there's a clear and obvious error. Otherwise don't overturn it. This is what happens in tennis and cricket and it works great there.

All on Tottenham played well. The assists get overlooked. When Lamela and Son cooperate, they are unbeatable. Tottenham side have so much potential: Lamela, Son, Lucas, Eriksen, Dele ... even without Harry Kane, they are a great team. And let's not forget the defenders who are sadly not given the attention and kudos they deserve. Poch must have a tough time choosing players to start. So long as no one has star disease (Son), they can achieve high scores like this consistently. Consistency is the name of the game. The score 6-1 shows Tottenham's true potential. When they have low scores, it means something went wrong in the game. Son should not have done a feint. Even if he didn't completely stop but just slowed down, he is risking it being called a foul and getting a yellow card. Not worth it. Just kick it normally. He should know the rules of soccer by now - it's been 9 years he's been playing professionally. It was really dumb what he did. He defends what he did by insisting it wasn't a real feint but that sort of thing is difficult to decide one way or the other - just don't do anything that even looks like a feint. He is getting really cocky, even disputing the referee's call. He has star disease. He is becoming very very arrogant. The South Koreans fawn over him and he knows he's a star there and it gives him a swelled head. He got famous young so all the years of people praising him and calling him a wunderkind has given him an inflated opinion of himself and he plays very selfishly, not doing team play, not creating plays for others, not passing to others when he should, not assisting on goals enough.
