Brilliant comedy. It also makes a good point about military leadership back in those days. Most of the Generals and Admirals were experienced combat veterans from their younger years, somehow miraculously managed to survive war and often injury, stayed in the service and climbed the ladder. I am 62, Sea Hunt is where I first took notice of Mr. Bridges. I always envisioned myself as a frogman in the Navy when I was old enough. As fate would have it, I ended up going into the Rangers instead.
