I spent more time trying to figure out what they meant with regard to 'You can leave the supplied collar out', than installing the filter. Luckily I bought an installation kit.. my Sport Chief had a different bracket than yours. Ur bracket is similar to what came in the extra kit I bought, which came with a correct blow by hose and grommet for the wire. I just used the factory gasket. I trashed their gskts that came with the aircleaner and didn't bother with a clamp for the blow by hose. That part that u described as confusing in the directions totally threw me off too..nice simple set up once u realize how it goes together..its literally a 5 minute job on my bike.. no need to take gas tank up etc.. Remember what the torque specs for throttle body was?

I don't recall if the instructions gave me torque specs I can double-check and let you know if I remember correctly I just kind of snugged everything up

Did you have to install a fuel controller?

No I haven't but I want to and would recommend doing so

Those seem like poor instructions, I expected better from Lloyd's. They are high end parts and prices to match, I agree you should not have to run to the hardware store for a hose clamp.

Did you mess with the intake adapters at all with install?

Just the two gaskets and the o-ring type spacer thing that came on the bike is all I messed with. I really had no idea what I was doing and the instructions didn't help much, but I put some miles on it since the install everything seems fine.

Also I'm not a hundred percent sure with the intake adapter is that very well could be what I'm messing with in the video

@Dennis Williams appreciate the response. The intake adapters connect the throttle body to the heads. Wasn't sure if throttle body was replaced during installation. Thanks!
