Another point to make is since their powers have demonic origins, which is probably why they couldn’t control it until Lloyd created a sigil that can direct their power, their bodies became “candidates to house a demon inside”.

I'll be honest, this anime isn't a "shotacon" show like everyone is saying especially it got tons of fanservice for his female companions and not much for the shota himself (thankfully). Like we literally got Sylpha and Tao naked on previous episodes, we also got a Loli fanservice now, a true shota show would never do this because they would focus more on the shota's fanservice and everything else is irrelevant. Also just because the MC is a shota doesn't mean it's automatically a shotacon show, but you're right on one thing, this is definitely a shota-bait anime especially the camera angles on him is sometimes crazy.

All those animal shadow creatures are all demons and there is a hierarchy that they follow since after all, the strong rule over the weak over their in the netherworld. They are 10 ranks in total for the average common demon; Pazuzu is rank 8, Grim is rank 3, and Guisarme is above any of those ranks because he is royalty. Just to clear this up; Ren has been wearing two hairpins, when Grim attack Jade he was using double incantations as you can see a little mouth on his left arm, and the reason Lloyd went to sleep is because he has been working making 50+ swords and when he finally hit the bed he notice Ren on ep6 which led to him colliding with assassin's guild on ep7 which led us to Lordost this episode. The quote for this arc is "the longest night" too. I don't blame Lloyd for being tired, he has been working hard and needed a little rest.

I don't get chatters who write stuff like "today's episode is insane" or "just wait 2 min and you'll see" right in the middle of an important scene. Just let the guy experience the show as it is. You are supposed to be lulled into that false sense of calm and security while just feeling a hint of foreboding, that's what makes the turn all the more stark and shocking. You are completely ruining that buy telling him "wait and something will happen".

It will probably cover the differences between demons in the next few episodes. However, if it doesn't, keep in mind Grim threatened the Kingdom of Saloum. Grim is rank 3 devil, Pazuzu was rank 7. Guisarme is a lord-class devil. that means he's over 100 times stronger than Grim.

this episode started so booooring until the thing inside jade started cooking at a point. and im glad it started so boring because it made me feel better at the second half. yeah aru has albert but what about sylpha... jade's va is the same person as dark gathering keitaro and he rocked this ep. Jade o7. lloyd finally talked like a boy for the first time i guess he is mad as fck, eagarly waiting for the next ep.
