In today's Thailand travel vlog, we checked out what nightlife is like in Bangkok in 2022 starting with Sukhimvit 11 and Nana Plaza (Red light district), Followed by a crazy Tuk Tuk ride to Chinatown where we ate some delicious street food as well as some local delicacies including crickets and scorpions.

Scorpion followed by a can of beer on stand by to instantly wash it down. Big effort guys. I looked at the trays full of cockroaches, beetles and whatever other bugs were there and said to myself not in a million years and there you are crunching away on it without a care in the world. Pity I can't donate more than one thumbs up. That was gutsy to say the least :)

Yes, make use of the BTS and MRT! I love Bangkok, I always use Sukhumvit as a base, good hotels and transport galore., you can then venture off into any direction and explore. If you know the area there are great cheap places to eat and enjoy. I am there later this year, your vlogs are awesome guys!

Thanks for eating the bugs. I always wondered what they tasted like. I thought that probably the would basically taste like any crispy skin. The crispy ones I could probably eat but the silk worm larvae would be a step too far for me. They are a fav treat of one of my Thai friends.

Insects are only eaten by Thai people as an occasional fun and daring street snack, they are mostly not terribly delicious with most of the flavour coming from the fish sauce. If you ever get the chance to visit Cambodia, locals commonly eat large spiders which are a cheap street food

I thought Khaosan was far more tourist and white than Sukhumvit. If you ride the train, shop in the malls, eat at restaurants or stroll the general streets, it's far more thai and far less farang. If you only go to Nana...
