Hi I am sorry 😊I don't think this receiver can work The detector diode should be germanium. You need to connect a high gain antenna and ground wire Don't forget the capacitor variable for tuning the frequency.

no the lm386 is used here to amplify radio signals and iductor and capacitor works as the tuner if you add variable capacitor there you can change radio station
