With the mk70 you got to change wires on abs thing Update, No do not touch wiring, you Must make sure you change the other numbers below the coding number, it should be copied from old speedo, do that and its fine!!

Famous Abs implausible operation fault code, it becomes a bigger problem now, getting difficult to sourse second hand parts for a reasonable price, even if you find one, it has a chanse of failing soon, because is a very common problem on these types of Abs control units.

I have same vw and when ever you remove the battery the car needs to be driven and the lights reset . After repairing fault . I did it the same as you First time after fitting front fogs with vcds took me 4 hours then found out only need to drive car . Great vid as usual 😎

Very helpful. It would be nice to know the actual elapsed time. We did channel 025 and it completed in less than 5 mins. We are unable to get channel 026 to calibrate even after 20 mins. Curious how long 026 too to calibrate. Thank you for sharing.

Great Stuff Luis..i have a vauxhall Vivaro 2010 bosch system in the shop No ABS COMMS it has the 2 power and 2 grounds at module it has 2.4v can low and 3.6 can high with good resistance ABS module sent away to ecu testing and came back NO FAULTS pin on abs 14 to obd 14 continuity ok and pin 26 to obd 6 continuity ok im pulling my hair out now

😊 Just remember, you might seen can at the module, that could be the car can, not the ABS, you might need to pull the can wires out, and see if there is activity on coming from the ABS unit on it's own... If that makes sense... 👍👍👍

Some tools gives you the possible coding, or the different bytes to construct the coding... VCS for example, not on all modules though...

I have an Audi A3 '09 and Group 026 (Hydraulic unit disconnecting valves adjustment) never finishes on mine. Have tried it in the morning too with a dead cold engine. Nothing. Am I doing something wrong? Dealership couldn't fix it despite bleeding the system numerous times with multiple ways.

@@LMAutoRepairs That's correct, after 1 hour of attempts it returned 148 = Aborted: Outside Tolerance. The only fault code stored is 00003 - Control Module: No or Incorrect Basic Setting / Adaptation. Thank you! EDIT: Brand new ABS module (the hydraulic part is the original) and it was changed under the recall campaign.

I would get in touch with whoever repaired it... If it is coming with a fault that was never there initially... You don't know how it was repaired... Did they repaired the actual unit, or replaced the internals? Difficult to say I guess... Check with them.for advise, as they know what they did and can easier shed some light into the problem... Providing you have obviously made sure everything on the car is OK... 👍👍👍

@@LMAutoRepairs Here's a update. ok so i was going to do a reset on the ABS unit last stitch effort before go back to the repairer. so i disconnected the battery for 20min , then put on battery maintainer, so i could do a full back-up of the car before i did the reset of the ABS unit. the back-up was taking for ever to do after 4.5Hr's it had only went 50% engine unit alone and the other 16 unit still to go, so thought it was going to take all night to do, so i went to get my usb of my phone to keep it charge,but when i came back 5min's later it had completed everything, engine and the other 16 unit's ,strange but ok i thought, so i thought i would try one last time to see if i could delete that code (000150) that could not be deleted before , before i did the reset on the ABS unit , but this time it deleted and did not come back and hasn't for 2 days now! i'm thinking now is it because ABS unti or ECU unit had lost information so how and took all this time to communicate or reprogram each other in some way and that's why the back-up was taking for ever and then suddenly finished very quickly because the ECU and ABS had finished communicating (so i had to do is leave the ignition for a long time to fix this )? this is just my thoughts how this went and how it's is sorted now, hopeful it don't come back now.

So 25 works for me and 26 doesn’t. I’m using OBD11 so there’s no on/off button for me. I get the same “calibrated 003” on 25 screen but once I leave it, it goes back to off as if I didn’t do anything. Any help on that?

Hi mate this is a mega useful video, I will be starting this whole process tomo and would never have figured all this out even with Vcds. Do you know if it is possible the steering can lose partial power when got Abs fault. I have the 3 lights, 3 beeps and steering feels heavier, car running rough. Have fitted new mechanical part to abs, kept module the same. Car is a Mk2 Seat Leon (Mk5 Golf) platform. Thank you in advance.

What do you mean turn the lights off? I am really confused... If you have the esp and the abs lights on, scan the the abs module and see which faults are in the module... from there repair the faults and clear the codes... That should extinguish the lights... Same goes for the airbag and for the handbrake... though some can be caused by other systems, and do not necessarily indicate a fault with the particular system... Again, a scan should point all of that...

Hello. I got vw golf mk6 2010 1.6tdi with abs problem. On my case I got no reading on osf and nsr. The module recognise the sensors clear codes ok but no reading. If I try with a strong magnet on the nsf and osr I got readings. Do you come with anything like this before? Thank you

I would start to check wiring then... connections etc... Load test the sensors wiring, just to make sure...

@@LMAutoRepairs I think so. The fault code was 01130 abs operation. The pump went to be refurbished but the company said a coil has gone and it’s non repairable.
