Everyones been saying how fox is -2 against gnw and he has all the tools to exploit his biggest weaknesses. Which still makes it even at best bc gnw is busted but still overrated. You can frame trap him every time he has to tech or air dodge since his tech animation is one of the worst in the game. And u can punish his landings all day. You just have to know how key works. All of us gnw mains abuse the fact that people dont understand the key. It stays out from about double jump height to the ground but is only active until about 3/4 of the way down. So u can stand inside the key and punish with anything u want if he keys high. If he keys low you have to shield both hits of it. It has immense endlag if casted low. Its a loop you have to spam the whole game and be ready for. Baiting up b is also really good because it creates a landing situation without a second jump mixup. Which means key or tech. So u can force your win condition almost risk free by landing a move safely on shield, whether you have the frame data to dodge the up b afterwards or the range/air drift to space it just safely enough. Tldr: Get under the gnw every time he has to land, especially if he burns his air jump. That means the only decently fast falling option is to commit to the key. Baiting up bs is great for forcing this scenario. Also cover neutral air dodge and tech in place every time, because the directional tech options are bad enough to swing, miss, and still get another punish.
