The "oppressed woman of color" thing is reeeeaaally getting old.

How can it “get old” when it keeps happening in front of everyone’s faces? I applaud G.H. for ruffling feathers and bringing this very relevant topic to daytime. It’s making the guilty speak out which means the issue is far from “old”. So proud of Brook Kerr. She deserves an EMMY!

@@PrinceMontrey I just made a long comment and I think it got canceled. Basically black people have more privilege, because they have affirmative action and grade curves and special considerations etc. Not everything is about blackness. Esme framed Trina Not because Trina is black, but because Spencer was becoming interested in her and Esme was jealous.

@@janettemasiello5560 I’m not denying her jealousy. However, the way she set up Trina for the brunt of the punishment seems like a strategic way for her to nudge the “Justice System” into dishing out the maximum punishment to yet another POC as Portia stated. I hate to say it but EVERYONE is racist to some extent because when you see someone who looks different or has a different background, you’re gonna draw comparisons and differences naturally. I love how Trina gets backlash for being liked and Esme gets excused for showing her true colors. Her intentions may not have initially been racist but her follow-ups surely tapped into her prejudiced mindset which is being perpetrated as “jealousy”.

Well people do look different, and they are different. We think differently about this, and that's okay. ✌️
