Not only the dramatic pause, but I also noticed the slighty raise eyebrow, the tilt of his head when he said "our father". He also had a ever so slight sneer to his lips. My guy meant biznesssss.

This episode was one for the books, and my guy did that. Spencer didn't leave anything uncovered, and neither did Trina. Esme played with the big leagues, and they're showing her how they serve justice. Spencer will NOT make the same mistakes he did before when Trina was on trial. He's protecting HIS OWN. Now all you Esme defenders coming on this dedicated Sprina page to defend her should stick to an Esme only page. Tonight is not the night. Take a day off.

This week, SPRINA and company brought their A games to General Hospital. Spencer and Trina, Esme, Ace, and Nicolas set it off; it was off the chain. Each character was fantastic in the Spencer and Trina episodes, and you all set off. I just wanted to give you all your flowers for such a wonderful performance. I love every moment of it. The gh writers are so inconsistent I do think esme is a phony manipulator but I do wonder how did spencer go from being completely obsessed with ace to giving his brother to his father to take off with. In a short time Spencer has done a complete 180 from being a sucker and believing esme had changed to being direct and pointing out esmes wrong doings. Esme as well has done a 180 in a short time she went from monopolizing all of last year keeping Spencer with ace to now telling Spencer he is not aces father and had no right to give him away. Esme only wants Spencer to be ace father when she is manipulating him and when it’s convenient for her.

Well keep in mind this storyline has been going on for years smh. I feel when GH is ready to wrap things up storylines move swiftly. I’m ok with things moving quickly at this point. So tired of the circular narrative of the Ace/Esme. Although Ace is a cutie lol.

I'm so happy with this scene. But I've got to ask people on here who are long time General Hospital viewers. Are all Cassadines a bit off their rocker? Spencer at times can be downright creepy. :D It doesn't bother me, but he gets dark vibes sometimes and I'm always like "Don't push him too far."

Ebobo didn't u move out of Laura house cause u wanted to lessen spencer time with ace sp not to confuse him so why is 4 months away plus he will visit every wkend which is what he is donin now so it's no differ when he is in paris why he can't go to paris 🤔

I was stressed this whole episode. I can't stand Esme but any woman whose child was taken is going to go berserk. She is going to go scorched Earth. She will take it out on Spencer and Trina and them going to Paris won't stop that. Knowing Trina and her ethical compass, she will be furious with Spencer.

Idk, I think when he tells Trina Esme got her memories back Trina will understand. Idk Trina was always reminding Spencer that he wasn’t Ace’s father and that Ace had a father. So idk…. I think she may be a little like wtf but I don’t think she’ll be mad 🤔🤔. It could go either way.

@@CJ3581 Maybe she will understand. The writers just had Trina being guilt ridden at the courthouse about Esme being separated from Ace for a few months if she had gotten time for the robbery. So not sure how she would suddenly be o.k. with Spencer handing Ace over.

Yeah… I firmly believe she’s more upset her meal ticket/get out of jail free card is missing. Ace has been too much of an after thought since Christmas when the first memory returned. They could have done a lot to convince me that she had actual feelings for her child outside of her usefulness to her if they actually gave her screen time to grieve him being gone during the haunted Star ordeal. But she disappeared until he returned to PC.

When Trina was worried at the court house I was confused lol Then when Spencer said “maybe she remembers” to his father I was also confused bc he was very sure of it the scenes before. But I do think once Spencer tells Trina Esme has her memories back that will change the game … all bets are off.

Esme has every right to be pissed off with Spencer. He should have been upfront with her as an active caretaker/co-parent of Ace that he was going to be leaving town with Trina and not be available to take care of him for an extended period of time. Both of them need to communicate better with one another or else it will turn into a huge mess.

Her main purpose, she claims, for leaving Laura was to establish boundaries and didn't want her son thinking that Spencer was his dad. It was all a lie she thought that Spencer would chase her and Ace down and commit to her. Spencer doesn't have to tell Esme anything in regards to his personal life since she makes it very clear every time she doesn't get her way, he's not his father. You guys are really something else. Let me get this straight according to you Spencer is supposed to provide his whereabouts to a woman he's not in a relationship with and has no kids with. Esme and Spencer ARE NOT partners or coparents. Esme made it clear she didn't want or needed his help.

The person @onesweetangel1017 does not seem to realize that Spencer was Ace's brother not his father or his co parent. He as a matter of fact stepped away from trying to attain that role since as Trina and Josslyn pointed out the only way to fill that role meant he would have to have a relationship with Esme and he damn sure did not want that.
