Vectorscope that draw a lissajou are cool. At least when the signal is stereo

What if I just would like to use the modulation wheel to do this instead, not hook it up with wires, that will control it for me!

I've been using the Spectre software: spectre.aurchitect.com

The funny/sad thing about Spectre is that it has to look at an audio input - not the output of a program - so I had to loop audio out of my computer and back in again to get those display from a software synth. If you're using VST plug-ins, I'd look for a VST 'scope instead. But otherwise, I use Spectre's spectrum analyzer for my hardware synth videos as well.
