I love the point by point comparison. It just goes to show how very much professional these two are and definitely their offscreen closeness really helps with their chemistry. Totally gets rid of that awkwardness that some GL partners have. Maybe they all need to take lessons from these girls. Just kidding! I love all Gl partners now. The more the merrier. But to reiterate, since they are close in real life, best of friends, it makes all the scenes much more believable coz they totally get how far they can go with each other without crossing the boundaries or there's no boundary. I would definitely watch any series with these two again and which them more success as they definitely deserve it. Not just a face card but the talent that they both possess is unmatched.

to my understanding by the time they landed their roles Sonya and Lookmhee have been friends for no longer than a year which is not a long time considering the kind of scenes those two had to shoot! lol. BUT THEN AGAIN, they became fast friends because the are have similar mentalities and goals in life ( which is something they mention on that video "BEFORE AFFAIR" ) . they also confirmed to have watched a bunch of GL shows and discuss how they wanted to go about THEIR show. i guess they just like us had an issue with kisses not looking "real"/"natural" and that's why they went the extra mile because they understood the importance of those scenes within the context of portraying a romantic relationship 5:38 ..... what are you doing to Sonya Lookmhee? ._. LOL

@@LookmheesGirl all gl pairs undergo to workshop before they shoot for real. But only few gl pairs can execute a well made love scene and kissing scene. For me, only freenbecky and LMSY did great in that scenes. You can act in drama or any other attitude, but making a natural flowing love scene and kissing scene is hard. Also, being friends before is another factor to make that scene awkward. Especially that you know how close you are and most girls cant imagine kissing their friends fr. But the fact that LMSY auditioned on that role, with them pairing up during audition to test the chemistry, says it all. P. S. I will make a video about their story during audition and on how they landed their role, on my next upload

@@younik-gl professionally trained actors have less of a problem with those type of scenes and i think a lot of the issues with see on BL and GL shows in regards with romantic scenes stem form the fact that casting directors are betting on the natural chemistry of the actor more than on their acting skills. Don't get me wrong , the workshops help a great deal but there are some things workshops and making the girls spend a couple of nights sleeping in the same bet wont fix. this is why freenbecky never sold their on camera chemistry when it came to romantic scenes in GAP and why it was hard to watch fayeyoko kissing. no matter how long you've met your scene partner, as long as you both are not on the same page , it will always look awkward and wrong. Personally, i feel LingOrm and LMSY did a better job than the other couples on that department and i'm strictly speaking in about their FIRST projects TOGETHER. i'm damn sure FayeYoko and Freenbecky are much more comfortable and trusting of each other now so their love scenes in whatever new project they have together will look a million times better. looking forward to your next video :)

​​@@LookmheesGirl honestly for lingorm, the only good real intimates scenes they have were on the first episode. the intimate scenes when they were back together were just awkward to watch, it seems they both dont want to do it. So I dropped TSOU since I dont feel the sincerity on those scenes - they should have been longing for each other, but they seem to just be brushing off their faces. The closest to affair for me is Blank, though Faye really kind of carried it singlehandedly. And FB is also giving it their all on intimate scenese, it's just Affair did it so beautifully with all the feelings encapsuled.

Can you elaborate because my understanding of the plot was that both were hurting and the doctor was conflicted ( rightfully so) about opening her heart again to the person who hurt her the most. I think it would be very hard to long for someone who has hurt you, even if you still have feelings because there is a constant fight between your heartland your brain , between loving that person yet being afraid of getting hurt again. I think LingLing and Orm portrayed that very well and it’s very much on character for the both of them. Since you dropped the series early on we cannot talk about all the other amazing moments where LingOrm sold us their love but then again, TSOU was never about cheesy pink colored romance, it was about forgiveness and their hearts refusing to give up on each other even when they were hurting. The Secret of Us was about them overcoming their own flaws in character and learning to be accountable for their own mistakes and finding love again so perhaps it has to do more with the story not meeting personal expectations than with lacks of sincerity in their acting 🤔

@@LookmheesGirl sincerity is giving it ur all on what the scenes require, including the feelings. If they have a kiss scene, then they should do it properly. I just really dislike it when scenes like that are half baked - it's either you give it your all, or just dont do it at all. For me the production of TSOU, totally focused more on the aesthetics. I get that Lingling is beautiful, she is the main selling point of the series. But, in my opinion, only 2 GL series has really satisfied me with their acting, that is Affair and Blank, both really natural, committed and raw performances. And I guess for you, you find TSOU ur fave. So, we have different opinions and I am just stating mine too.
