Bit of a scrape on the port side amidships on Yannis. That'd be below the waterline when she's fully loaded. I think someone ought to take a look at that
That's the only trouble with LNG, at its present state of development anyway; the tanks are very very big and take up a lot of space. Not do crucial on a tanker, but it would take up a lot of cargo space on a container ship

Fount this video during random scrolling. I am the Captain on a sister ship called the Advantage Victory. The hydraulic system used for mooring requires water for cooling. Hence the fire pump on these ships is always running during arrivals and departures. The anchor wash is kept open to prevent over pressurising of the fire main line. Hope this helps.

Probably washing the anchor chain to prevent sea life from being moved to create problems in a foreign port.
