ALSO A PART MISSED OUT IS THE RECIEVER, I SOLDERED BOTH POLES OF THE JACK SOCKET TO EACH SIDE OF THE SPEAKER, IF THERE IS A SPEAKER PLUS AND SPEAKER MINUS SOLDER PLUS TO THE TIP OF THE JACK AND MINUS TO THE SLEEVE OF THE JACK, if there is no speaker plus and minus, try it one way and see if it works, if not swap it over.

Hi! I think you can wrap the circuit in a plastic bag then in a metal foil - you'll get rid of a radio noises. I hope the antenna is in "the antenna" :)

When I was a kid, I had a couple of toy walkie-talkie that were actually low power crystal single CB radio. Sometimes happened that i talked to some random trucker. Besides were way cooler than the Minions one, were gray and brushed metal and hat a big chromed whip. I suppose they used AM modulation. These toys I suppose they're on LPD band and are transmitting in narrow band FM.

Nice! Boring technical question: is any attenuation/resistance needed when wiring up a speaker signal to a jack? Is there a way to check that the levels are ok before sending it through a nice amp?

anothertwunt you could use a scope and set the volume to your input level (200Vpp or so) with a voltage divider and then match the impedance with a serial resistance to the impedance of your input. Or just plug it in, guitar amps won't complain too much as long as you don't put the output from another amp into their input.

I think you need something with different channels. They sell those FM transmitters and they have different channels but something tells me that the FM band isn't exactly a good place to be when amplifying a guitar. Maybe a walky talky with different channels. Those are more expensive but maybe you could find a set at a yard sale or what do they call it in England? A tag sale? That's what Google says.
