Lo & Sons Pearl Review (5 year wear and tear) and New Bag Reveal

I've had my Saffiano Leather in Black for 5 years and there is very little wear and tear... other than the strap. But it's not bad. This is my everyday bag. I've worn it 5- 6 days a week for the past 5 years and I still love it! I want to get the Napa Leather in the tan, but I probably won't use it so....

I've had my dark grey saffiano bag for 3 years now and it's held up well (half the time was in covid so it didn't get much wear during that time), but the nappa leather reviews of this bag are hard to find! I just got the black/gold/camel combo and appreciate your review on how it's held up over 5 years. I also plan not to "baby" it. Yours still looks pretty great on the outside! Ofc questionable inside (haha!) - I realize I can't carry cash or the lining gets dirty faster.

I love Lo and Son's Pearl! I've had two of them, one in the Nappa leather and the other in the Saffiano leather. I experienced the same wear and tear on the strap but I use my bag as an everyday purse and never switch it out until I buy a new one. I also don't like how the inside gets dirty however I love the organization of this bag so much that I will probably get another one soon. And I love how it's not too bulky but just the right size!

You are welcome! I prefer nappa since it is softer. The saffiano is rigid and I have funny looking bulges from my stuff.

Hi and thank you! A regular sized wallet, yes. A long wallet may not fit. It can absolutely fit keys and there is a built in key holder.

Thank you! If your bag is really full I can see that but I stuff mine and can usually get the middle one closed without any problems. I don’t t use the snaps often. I put too much in my bag and need to get in and out too much to do that. Whenever I do use it I only use the middle one so I can protect my stuff from falling out or rain.

Hello! Thanks for watching my video. I haven’t tried the wallets but I prefer nappa leather over saffiano. In my experience the nappa is pretty hard wearing but if you want something more firm and scratch resistant saffiano may be the best option. Nappa will show some wear over time. I see they also have cactus leather. Based of the info on the website it seems like the cactus leather is soft but more water and scratch resistant than the nappa. I hope that helps.

How long is the crossbody strap? I'm plus sized, and I often find that the straps are short and cause it to look too small when I wear it as a crossbody. I was wondering if you could use the wristlet strap as an extender along with the crossbody strap to make it longer?

That might be an option. I’ll have to measure it when get home and try the wristlet strap to see if you can extend it

I just checked the website and it says the strap minimum is 30.5” and max 60”. I am plus size too and short so it works for me without extending the strap to the max, but understand your concern.

When the bag arrives, the wristlet strap is actually attached to the crossbody strap (yes, like an "extender"), and I just left it there! :)
