This is battle of atmosphere. A simple example of 2 style clashes that Excell in different settings. You drive a 2 wheel drive sports car out in the snow with a friend that is driving a SUV with AWD, the AWD will most likely perform better. Take those same vehicles on the highway on a clear day, the sports car will most likely perform better. Geechi is damn near unbeatable on a big stage, no matter where. Lux's downfall was not enough perform on the big stage, plus choking. He should of had more performance, more straightforward bars, in at least 1 rd or 2. Small stage/quiet room is more difficult for less intricate, crowd performers.

After the battle I said I got Lux winning the first, edging the second and losing the third clearly. But I said I HAVE to watch it again to really give my final verdict. I’m not gonna lie… after hearing Eazy breakdown Geechi second round, I was like “oh yeah, Lux lost the second”. Then when he broke down Lux second… 😳 I was like “YO, Lux was wildin!” I knew Lux second was solid, but I did not realize how much dope material he had in that second. Yeah people do it for sure, but not me. I ain't ever said Gotti won a round he stumbled in. When people said he beat verb even though I like his material better I'm not giving nobody around they stumble in. Unless you paused for a big crowd reaction and were bringing it back and mixed up a couple words trying to get through that and into the rest of your round, I don't consider that a choke. I just want it to be consistent across the board for everybody and when I'm analyzing a battle I take all that into consideration. Lux is STILL my favorite Battle rapper of all time and sits number one on my list, he just got beat this time it, ain't the first time.

I don’t penalize as heavily for stumbles as some because I’m more about content than delivery, even though I see the value in and appreciate both. Chess has had some horrible stumbles but as long as they get it back and get through the material fairly cleanly for the remainder of the round and give some fire content, I can overlook it. The third was a full choke and that’s an automatic lost round but stumbles I can overlook. But I respect if someone says stumbles lose the round. Can’t be mad at that.
