Loading 37 ton of wood chip

Would love to use a system like that which seems more precise and cleaner! The ones we have are very old, and don’t have a scale included. So you have to guess if it’s what you are looking for. Hope it doesn’t keep on dropping when you’re done, if you haven’t been able to close the doors soon enough….go to the loader which will press the load, tarp and then go to the scale hoping you don’t have too much. Seems a lot less productive than what you are using! 😊 Or maybe, it’s simply because I’m new at this, and will find this easier as time goes by!

In person, the trucks & trailer units are massive. Some are 9-axle rigs..

This is a B train which can go up to somewhere around 62K kg (60 ton), truck weighs 20 so its probably close to 40 tons of chips. I haul one 53 ft trailer that, when full with chips, is about 30-35 ton.

Chip weight is highly variable.. when super dry they can be fairly light but when wet they get pretty heavy.
