Cool vid man, about the same as when I used to haul fuel and had to do a pump off. I also used to haul water in the oil field but we used vacuum pumps they were a lot faster, only took about 15-20 minutes to load/unload maybe a little longer if you had some thick crap. Ya'll stay safe out there.

It's a long process of reversing the pump and rolling up the hose towards the pump to try to empty it; then closing the valve to the trailer and shutting off the pump. That is the basic s

You usually hop up and down the ladder to check in the top to see how low it is. Sometimes the hoses will vibrate hard because they are sucking air more then product.

This being the inedible side !!! Same basic process for edible/kosher just a different pump and only 1 hose versus that u-shaped hose. I guess I need to make a video !!🤣🤣🤣🤣

Tankers are a different world!! I wish I would have started in dry van!! I just hate to pump off….. hoses are so heavy!

I started in reefer. Was fine but wanted to do more outside the truck. I enjoy tanker more then reefer/dry van. Only way I’d go back is 100% drop n hook.

So the tank to pump will have product after Take extra caps before leaving ? Cause that was a hood bit still falling out

The extra amount is very dependent on your truck setup, the tilt of the trailer and the capacity left in the customers silo. You will always have some left over. You just have to work the pump to suck back what’s left so you don’t have messes such as what happened in the video. It’s just something you do with what you have.

Pretty much there’s a few videos on the first day. How to take apart the pump and how to hook up to unload. The next day is hands on loading/unloading.

Less stressful, I’m not sure as I haven’t done dry van. To me in my personal opinion, Tanker is the least stressful division at Prime.
