I like your baler, I have a John Deere 338 square baler, it hasn't been ran that much in the recent past, so I have some bugs to work out this season. Nice job on the square knot tie off and explaining how it works. I did a lot of square baling in the 70's, mainly use the round baler, a John Deere 450E, but I'm going to try to do some square this year. Thanks, have a great day!

Interesting, in the UK, we call your square knot, a Reaf knot. This name came from the old Sailing ships or boats. Thanks for reminding me of how to link up each bobbin. 🇬🇧🤪

I switched to the 'sheet bend' knot several years ago .... absolutely never fails.

Don't know what JD says, but most balers manuals say to use a square knot. Good knots used to literally make the world go around.. The "210" on your twine is 210 pound knot strength. It will hold that without failing. Thanks for the video!!

I run 8500-170 there is 8500 ft on one spool they just fit in the twine box 2 spools will do 1050 bales with your 8 ball box it would do 4200 bales. I have been using it for a few years now and i love it we run a accumulator and running out of twine makes a mess
