I thought I had held this video from publishing because a had a few settings to perfect. I ran a test with the 36" roll and it seemed to work out just fine. If you add .125" to your page margin it seems to be the magic number. I finally can now print a sign the first time and get it right. I had just finished a remake of this video and was going to publish it but this one was already published. Like I said the settings are working for 18", 24" 30" and 36" materials.

i have an old school cutter and i keep telling the boss that i'm not going to be here forever. so he has been sending me a likely candidate to learn the ropes, but i can't teach him all that i learned for the past 14 years in a few days or weeks time...

Same with me, I have about 4 years till I retire. There is nobody in site to take my place. When they hire, they go to the road crews and I get helpers when I need extra help. I have 18 years with the county and about 15 of them in the sign shop. There is no way to learn this job in even one year.

GOOD LUCK with that printer. We had one and the entity across the way had one. They have gotten a replacement because it would never print correctly. Ours was rebuilt several times for printing length issues. H.p. Customer service is horrible. Everyone who has a HP 365 latex printer regrets it after about 3 years. Avery Dennison makes a much more reliable printer.

Our has been a work horse for the two years we have had it. We bought from a local company who does provide tech support so we don't have to go through HP. They helped me out with a few settings that have really stepped up getting the print to come out great. So far no regrets.
