I just want to say that your videos are really helpful for a guy that’s trying to get his partner to think about being prepared day to day. I watch a lot of videos and is the first time that she’s actually agreed to implement some of the things you’re talking about. Amazing!

Amber Elle does a great job explaining needs of a family rig. More of this for both parents in either role. One, for being proactive but also two for being supportive. Security and awareness are not gender specific. Expand this series to show/explain situational awareness in urban environments, with the context of human trafficking/prevention.

Love this, all of us dudes get into preparedness and nerd out on SHTF, but not only making sure we have the daily supplies, but making sure it is A FAMILY AFFAIR is so important. Papa bear can't be the only one on watch, love this video, hope there's more to come to help with the rest of the family's prep!

More videos like this please! This gave my wife and I some really good ideas and would love to see more tips for the super moms out there whether in a tactical or non-tactical environment. maybe some ideas of what they should be doing while their husband isn't around or is currently out defending their property. Just brain dumping some ideas.

Great stuff! Of course, women really invented EDC. You cannot get more EDC than a woman's handbag. Yet there is a difference between - or tends to be a difference - between a woman's EDC and a man's EDC. A woman's EDC, be it a handbag or the back of the pick-up, tends to be plural rather than singular. It is for "me and mine" rather than for "me". Of course, "me" is important too, because if you cannot take care of yourself, you cannot take care of anybody else. However, the difference in perspective is very valuable. Thanks for this FieldCraft Survival.

Great job with explaining your thought processes through the lens of a mother. Only suggestion is adding underwear, socks and shoes in the kids clothing bags. Large pack of wet wipes. Roll of paper towel or 4+Microfiber cloths. Rethinking the water containers. Whistles for each kid. Bear Spray for drivers side. Small fire extinguisher. Swap out the match’s for more Bic lighters and add petroleum jelly soaked cotton balls. Set of Walkie Talkie’s. Extra batteries. Don’t know your location but add weather related items for current season.

I’d put a bag of clothes and a first aid kit in each car. If you go to dollar tree a first aid kit for each could cost $15 max

I just put together 8 first aid kits for around $100 but I bought the pouches on temu for less then $1 each and then I got pocket flashlights, trauma scissors, 5ml spray bottles, and syringes from there and then on Amazon instant ice packs, individual eye drops, individual triple antibiotic ointment, and a 100 pack of bandaids for $10. Target has the best waterproof bandaids I’ve found so far Dollar tree has liquid skin, sometimes triple antibiotic which is fantastic and then individually wrapped Tylenol and such

Who is Amber Elle and what are her qualifications? Genuinely curious
@IamMooshАй бұрын
Does it particularly matter? Most of the people on yt that preach preparedness have 0 “qualification”, it’s usually just experience based.
@ronlabe548729 күн бұрын
What qualification does a person need to have to tell you what she puts in her trunk? I'd imagine her quadruple PhD in minding your own business is good enough.

The amount of people that run around in crocs or slippas and don't think about having a pair of boots or tennis shoes in their vehicle is unreal. That was probably one of the most important aspects of this video you snuck in there. How many times have you walked with your wife/gf back to the car with her barefoot or carrying her.. Having some extra shoes would be a game changer.

Instead of carrying a bunch of b.s. in your car you can mitigate most of your problems by owning something extremely reliable like a 4 Runner, keep up on maintenance, spend money on good tires, & be aware of tire pressure. As someone who travels all the time I find having to carry less s*** has made my life easier & less stressful, not carrying more s***.
@joshmoore4498Ай бұрын
Do people even watch a video before commenting on it anymore? 99 percent of the things she's carrying is for practical everyday life "kid emergencies" like having extra snacks or clothes or umbrellas and has nothing to do with her "less reliable not toyota" breaking down and needing to self rescue? Literally the only things she mentioned having that has to do with vehicle breakdowns would be some hand tools which I'd argue everyone should have, a can of fix a flat, and a jump pack and she even mentioned multiple reasons she keeps that that has nothing to do with her own ride.
