I hate how all these streaming platforms have made an even worse version of cable where once again you need to buy into "bundles" to get the channels or shows you want to watch. Netflix was successful because it was easy and convenient. This will just turn people back to piracy because that becomes an easier way to find and watch the show you want. Valve had an entire speech about the importance of convenience when they broke into the Russian market! Baffling.

I never felt bad about pirating. It's very acceptable where I live. I do like supporting the arts to some degree, and it's more covinient to use Netflix and such, so I pay for Netflix and pirating everything else. Maybe I will spread my money around and move to another streaming platform at some point, or pay for multiple if I will start earning more. Giving 5$ a month for LRR on Patreon too, obviously :)

@@Ash16180 Just because something is acceptable where you live doesn't mean YOU should accept it. You don't have to agree with the people around you. I was okay with pirating when there was an obvious need for the industry to digitalize. Then they did, and I stopped pirating, because I DO want to support the arts. I fucking love the arts. But now, idiots are ruining the industry by somehow failing to realize the obvious consequence of over-saturing the market with shit like this, that still insists on exclusive content. Fuck that; I'm getting my rum and pirate hat out of the basement.
@Unclevertitle5 жыл бұрын
A compromise between pirating and simply doing without would be juggling subscriptions. I usually only want to watch so many shows on a streaming service then manage to run through them. At that point I can discontinue one service and start up another. It doesn't help with the social aspect of TV watching, keeping up with the same content other people are watching, but it's easier to justify financially.

1. Why is cam running around with a defibrillator? 2. Did we just watch Paul give a hard pass to something that's a little sciency? 3. Having gone from watching videos about the UK Video Game and Gambling commissions report (and the industry's response) to this video where Graham can't watch the TV shows and Movies he wants, yeah, this timeline does suck.
@biggerdoofus5 жыл бұрын
Not that these questions needed answers, but 1. A variety of possible reasons ranging from the comment elsewhere that he was going back in time through the door to deliver it to a past cH episode, to the reason cH Alex isn't around as much any more, to a possible reason cH Alex (et al.) could've been around more often if Graham hadn't stopped him. 2. Breading is canonically more cH Cameron's area of science ("My specimens!") so it might be too mundane for current cH Paul.
