@PinaCoco - Thanks for your endorsement of this LoadRunner tutorial. Thumbnail Explorer shows you the recorded business process as images. You can view with your Vuser script directly. Or you can configure Thumbnail Explorer at VuGen>Tools>Options>Scripting> Thumbnails by checking all options (which would consume more resources) and record again.

Hi, I tried to record script with a different site [which is working manually]. I was able to launch the URL ->Login -> Logout on the launched browser but nothing got recorded. Seems like it was an issue of protocol as you stated in this videos. It is working fine now. Thank you for the help! Just one quick question- do you have specific video for TruClient -Web on how we can do the configuration and make results?

This is an interesting issue. Your LoadRunner's rendering settings might be set to a mode that doesn't fully render the webpage or its elements, causing images to appear in grayscale.

Hi Inder, Need your help, I want to know as we add transaction after recording in the script, so here is we can see only 2-3 web request for log in, book ticket, cancel ticket and log out. So easily we can add transaction for that web request. But my ask is if there is 15-20 web request in the script and we have to add transaction then we can check that this particular web request will come under login, launch, book ticket, cancel ticket and log off.. Please help

Hi Deepak, you can locate the particular web request by reading the Vuser script in the editor pane or by using the Step Navigator. First, view LoadRunner Transaction tutorial at kzbin.info/www/bejne/naCwg5KPqrmroJo You can add one transaction for all the requests in the action for which you need to measure the time against your performance requirements. Hi Srikanth, the actual file upload is not done by the HTTP protocol. One way to proceed is this. Instead of the browse and file upload, just paste the complete file path with file name in the text box and click on Upload button.

Hello! Thanks for the video! Do you have any advice or video about correlating a parameter based on a cookie Session ID? I have recorded a login scenario however it has the old session ID in the script. I need the script to get the new Session ID each instance the script replays. How do I get a value from a Cookie and use the value in a variable later in the script? Hope I make sense.

Thank you for your question. I don't have a video on correlation. Auto correlation parameterizes dynamic values like Session ID. You can look for the parameter values put by VuGen during auto correlate. Such values are some variable names enclosed by curly braces { and }. Alternately, the Correlation tab in Design Studio can be used to implement correlations in your Vuser script. The LoadRunner user guide (pdf file) explains correlation in detail.
