That antique hutch was pretty epic for 200 bucks. I love the way people are repurposing them in kitchens especially since dining rooms are not so embraced by the younger generation. I still love and use mine but then I love to entertain. Cute little white table as well. You go to the best stores! Those little dishes have multi purposes as well…. For jewelry, little candies and guest soaps. They just don’t make them anymore and I also love to see the things of yesteryear used in a variety of ways. Thanx for the take along. I always shop vicariously through you!❤

Hi Kelly gal! Great walk through! Loved the gorgeous display cabinet, wood base lamp, and green aluminum pot. And, I'm a sucker for a pretty little hand painted trinket dish like the ones you said may have been used for tea bags. I have a few in my bedroom for when I quickly take off my jewelry. Ok, my bestie's are Kristy, been friends since age 5. Tonya, friends since 2nd grade. And Angie, friends since 5th grade. We are all now 52. I love these girls like the sisters I never had. I’m so glad for Missy, got the vanity set, so pretty! When you were scanning the room, I never saw so many pretty dining room sets. Edgar Allen Poe is buried in the city I came from, Baltimore ( well I lived in Baltimore County). Loved the small dining room hutch, that would look stunning in my kitchen as a counter/ cabinet. Shame I can’t afford to buy it and ship it over! Absolutely adored the $50.00 China cabinet! They always have the best lamps and gorgeous furniture at that resell store! You’re right that was the prettiest drop leaf dining room table I’ve seen as well! Well Kelly as usual, thank you for taking us shopping with you! It was a blast!

Kelly you did great today. I laughed about the wooden shoe stretcher because my grandma used newspaper with alcohol to loosen them up. Those furnture pieces were so beautiful and the woman who won the small dresser should be so proud, I guess she rushed to the store lol.

Newspaper with alcohol...I never heard of that! Interesting technique! The lady that won the dresser had shared that she had just suffered a loss in her family and that winning that dresser was a light in her darkness! It made me cry to learn that! 💜

Sometimes Mooresville NC gets complete cabinets. They are north of Charlotte NC. You would have to call to what they have in stocks. It is the Habitat Restore just off exit 36 on 77 N.
