@@elizabethadams8990 I re-watched a short portion this morning after seeing your reply, this time on my desktop monitor. On a so much larger screen it was more obvious that the yellow is on the surface, not just the pimple heads but patches around some pores also. An iodine wash seems even more likely. I'm a longtime popaholic also and I haven't seen the video, or an iodine wash, before either so it still mystifies me a little. Glad I'm not the only one!

Blackheads do not contain infection. The pore is just blocked by oil and dead skin. If it turns cystic then it is infected.

Washing, or not washing, has nothing to do with acne. Google is a great remedy for ignorance, though.

@@bethmccoy3680 you're the ignorant one. Puberty causes an increase in sebum. Acne is dead skin and sebum. If the skin isn't washed properly dead skin cells and sebum clog the pores. Add to that the poor nutrition of any teenager and this is what you get. But yes, keep telling me how ignorant you are Beth.
