Each song is different! If there's accurate tabs, then typically a few hours. But songs that I had to figure out by ear typically took a few days each

I haven't had any issues with it staying in tune. I also haven't tried any other bass vi's so I don't have much to compare it to. Overall it's a cool instrument, and I recommend it if you're considering getting one
