Today's Shy Look was the MVP for my first LobCorp run. I could level any stat for any employee simply by sending them in with the right timing. I'd usually have them move back and forth in front of the door, pause when the happy face is chosen, and send them in immediately. As long as they went inside in time, there was absolutely no risk. As a bonus, it also made Justice especially easy to train, since I could spam it endlessly. Almost every new employee I added to the facility was trained with that abnormality - which led to a lot of very capable folks running around with skin masks.

Due to {}’s recent breach, the data on Punishing Bird is currently corrupted. The cliff notes version of this is that if you don’t work on it, it’ll probably get mad and want to escape. However, under any circumstances, do not attack. Unless you want to sacrifice yourself to get it back to containment earlier. As I am currently a grunt in a adjacent department, I do not remember the corresponding work. I will add this info to the level 2 employee training guide. - Jacob, Welfare Department Level IV

For anyone who's curious as to how Punishing Bird works, since the video doesn't elaborate on it, allow me to explain: Punishing Bird's best work is Insight, and has a Qliphoth Counter of 4. This counter has a chance of decreasing whenever an abnormality other than Punishing Bird is worked on. Once the counter reaches zero, Punishing Bird will escape and target a random employee anywhere in the facility, dealing very miniscule Red damage multiple times in slow succession to the target employee. After which, it will return to it's containment unit of it's own volition. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SUPRESS PUNISHING BIRD WHILE IT IS BREACHING UNLESS YOU HAVE BIG BIRD AND JUDGEMENT BIRD IN THE FACILITY AND ONE OF THEM IS AT RISK OF BREAKING CONTAINMENT. Attempting to supress Punishing Bird will cause it to enter an enraged state, where it will target the last employee that damaged it and attempt to use the maw in its chest to deal up to a whopping 1200 Red damage on the target, instantly killing them.

@@sakura368 the best E.G.O armor available in the facility gives an employee 7.5x damage resistance against punishing bird That isn't enough to save any employees, unless they have an hp of 160 or more However is it noted that it is possible to supress punishing bird without casualty using either a ranged E.G.O weapon or the highest burst damage E.G.O weapon. Do note that trying to obtain said weapon without the consent of the manager will lead to an immediate termination

Hey Xai here…. I was looking through the Training tapes and noticed that the section on punishing bird seems to of been corrupted…. I swear more funding goes to those damned Rabbits than to our own employees..:. Anyways some quick info on our favorite bird arguably the unofficial mascot of the company! (Don’t tell ms Angela I said that.) Anyways punishing bird or small bird has four counters to its Quilpoth deterrence that raise through good works and lower whenever other abnormalities are visited or bad work is preformed. When that counter hits zero the bird will flutter its way outside of its containment unit and it will proceed to peck at panicking employees or whoever is close by. If you see the bird outside of containment inform a team captan and let it do its thing. If you are being pecked at by the birb just treat it as though it’s a more friendly bee. Offer it some pets or a treat! Whatever you do *DONT ATTACK THE BIRB!* When provoked Punishing bird will retaliate by opening its stomach and swallowing whatever is in-front of it whole. Same thing applies to a certain Wav class abnormality’s EGO… it’s sure to be covered In the next tape and if not… then I will just do it myself regardless of the risks… So long as no one figures out where I work or who I am I should be fine! Xai out! Oh right… instinct or attachment works are often the best… but you really can’t go wrong everything but repression. Don’t repress the birb… it doesn’t like that.
