To Fang Jie: Actually, you got nothing to be fret about bean's issue. As long as you'll just have to remove its skin will do (ps. Skin's the culprit which causes gout/uric acid). So, stick with your ingredients and ignore those naysayers (either you eat it or leave it - Hey, you'll have to adapt to the world not the other way round, duh....) FYI: I've been consuming soy protein (of course skin dehulled) every day for the past 2 decades, NEVER in life have any of symptom or complaint, neither my mum as well.
