I ADORE this song! I'll never forget the first time I heard it, I was in my car driving home with the oldies station on and this song IMMEDIATELY stole my heart. I turned up the radio and never wanted it to end!!

Hadn't listened to Lobo in a long time. Of course I have this on the vinyl album. My favorite was "Me and You and a Dog Named Boo". Thanks for bringing back all these memories. I'm going to have to get all my vinyl's out (big job) and listen to some of them again! Love Ya!!

I listened to an interview and he said this song was about him and one of his teachers and she could not date him as he was a student…maybe that will make more sense
