Heart n soul in this song. My friend played guitar and would play it for his wife when she was so ill with cancer. 😢 Just beautiful.

I was 15 years old when I was trying to learn this song on my guitar. Back then, finding the lyrics of a song wasn't that easy (I live in Chile) so the best way to get to learn the songs was by ear. Sometimes we got the words wrong but even the wrong word sounded almost correct. I never dreamed that someday I'd be watching Lobo himself singing this incredible song on something called the internet... thank you life for giving me this present.

Its incredible isn't it.....I remember listening to the radio....we would call in and make requests to hear a song....and then just wait for this song to come on. Its amazing now that we can listen to any song we want as many times as we want!!!! Hope your guitar playing continued and you learned his songs. So many of his songs are so beautiful but yet the chords are so simple!!!!! I love playing many of his songs!!!!

Many have covered this song but none has sung it as well as Lobo - none has been as emotive as he is in singing his song ! And to think it almost went to the Hollies ! As great as you sang it in 1972, if not GREATER now, Lobo ! Well done and congrats on a great reimagined version ! 👍👏💯🤩🥰😍

This is the song that first introduced me to Lobo. I'd listen to the charts at school (aged 14) as this song crept up to number 4 here in the UK, telling all my friends they needed to go out and buy it! It remains one of my all time favourite songs - it's timeless, and so well produced.

@@NeilBarratt Guess we are! I heard 'Boo' shortly after 'I'd Love you to Want Me', and realising this guy was something special, I searched for all Lobo songs - been hooked ever since, buying everything I could get my hands on! Without doubt my favourite musician/artist.
