On the sephirot tree, Netzah symbollizes endurance - the leadership and persistence it takes to hold and maintain it. Yet, in Lobco, Netzie is broken, incomplete. It's a man who cannot take it anymore, the horror and hopelessness around him overwhelm him. It is a man who wants out, by any means, and the only joy in life finds in escaping it, if only for brief moments he can mute it. Numbness. Constant Insobriety. It is depression, yes - but not depression of apathy, but rather craving for apathy, wanting to close ones eyes and drift away into nothingness, drowning in numbness. However, as he's too sensitive and caring, he virtually cannot do it, so resorts to exactly that - drowning. Therefore, first song is one in state of nothingness, blissfully absent and numb. The second is sorrow of not wanting to wake up. But is it not those who say they want out, who truly want to live the most? PS compare it with Library's Netzah! Now, ready to face the living with persistence, understanding how does it feel to struggle with it dwindling. Still reluctant and a little marasmic, he will now stand firm and stubborn when he has to. He did, however, keep his affinity to state of inoxication, but no longer in forms of escape - instead, letting it speak through his artistic soul.

Erm, you weren't technically wrong as a sephira meltdown has to happen before you can supress their core, so I guess people like to nickpick

To be fair, Abandoned did play for both Netzach and Hokma. For me it was more memorable in the dialogue with Hokma though, since it was our first time meeting him.

"Meltdown" is actually an appropriate word. "Sephirah Meltdown: MANIFESTATION OF QLIPHA DUE TO SEPHIRAH BREAKDOWN; Suppression of Sephirah’s Core Required"

Netzach works as the healer in a place that actively endangers it's employees. Even if his team can stitch someone back together their job is probably just going to rip them apart tomorrow. And a good bit of that is the Players fault. When you get a new monster each day it's easier to risk a low level employee that you haven't invested in rather then your more powerful ones. Once a few weak ones bear the risk you know enough to avoid instantly killing your high level lads and they can work with the monster repeatedly. if your low lvl guy doesn't instantly die, you can heal them up and do it again with the next monster. Some Quotes from the Core Suppression: "No one is actually safe here. You know that the Safety Team is just for show, right?" "Why do you want to continue prolonging these undesired lives? What’d you expect to see at the end of all this?" -You Level 1: "The moment I woke up again here, I met you. You, whom I never wanted to see ever again." -You "Why must I wake up and do all the garbage I hate every single day?" Level 2: "You weren’t the person I put my trust in." -You "This place will never be safe, you know." Level 3: This is where the second song starts "Abandon your sense of guilt, everyone. They couldn’t be saved anyways." " ‘Cause this place is always horrible, the only thing I can hope for is a blissful end." Level 4: "I never wanted to be in this position anyways. I never asked for this. Not once." "In the end, the hope that anyone will live on thanks to me is gone." Level 5: "Just leave me alone, it’s what you’re best at." - You "All I want is to close my eyes and enjoy a good nap, just once." End: "I stopped breathing, but if life calls out to me yet again..." Closing Line: "The Fearlessness to Keep on Living"

You weren't wrong, the message that shows every time one of the core supressions starts is: "MANIFESTATION OF QLIPHA DUE TO SEPHIRAH BREAKDOWN Suppression of Sephirah’s Core Required" yes, I know it says "Breakdown" and no "Meltdown", but a lot of the early Project Moon terminology is, for lack of a better term, artificial... something about multiple translations and internal problems and whatever, technically one of the most important words in the games (abnormality) is plain wrong, but it stuck and got adopted over time, in any case... you are not here to read about the past, you are here for what the future may hold, right? let me mark down the songs you heard by now -Malkuth:- - -Violation of Black Colors- - -Red Dots- Yesod: - -untitled9877645623413123325- - Faded Hod: - Retro Time ALT - Retro Time ALT (distorted) -Netzach:- - -Abandoned- - -Blue Dots- Tiphereth: - Eternal - Dark Fantasy Scene Chesed: - Battle - Urgent Encounter - (no second theme... and that is probably, almost surely relevant) Gebura: - Distorted Night - -Insignia Decay- Binah: - Jukai - Haunted Streets Hokma: - 090909090 - -Circle Rombed Oxygen-

**Spoiler Warning** The thing about Netzach is that he REALLY hates his job. I’m sure I explained it before, but in this game he’s a heavy substance abuser and is clinically depressed. Yet, he’s in charge of an entire corporate department. A department of a company that could care less about how many people die by the end of the day, as long as the day’s quota is met. He absolutely hates it but sees no way to escape from it. He regularly administer his employees copious amounts of drugs to keep them happy and willing to work in a company that doesn’t value their life. What triggers this suppression is his attempt to end his own life where he intentionally overdoses on the same substance in an attempt to gum up and stop his robotic mechanisms. This of course fails since he just has his consciousness uploaded into a new body. But this suppression gives him the strength to keep going to see the company’s mission to its end in hopes that reaching the end will finally be the salvation he and the employees are working towards. Other Sephirah comment on his unwillingness to work and only focusing on getting high and moping around. He even introduces himself as “not wanting to work”, and your administrator asks you to “watch him closely and make sure he stays in line.”. In his first life he was more than happy to work and is extremely loyal to the company, so much so that he willingly volunteered to be a human test subject if it meant bringing a certain someone he was best friends with back to life. He was also extremely empathetic and supportive of said friend. In the end he died from the experiment, only to be brought back as a manager of one of the 10 departments the player overlooks.

You got depression part right, but there is also alcoholic and drug abuse themes involved. Story wise Netzach hate his given job, for being in charge of safety of employees (the ones, who works with Abnormalities). "There is no point of trying to save anyone, when they die seconds after". Tormented with guilt and depression he is drugging himself with Enkephalin, supressing his emotions and essentially trying to Alt+F4 himself. Which, sadly he cant. The "final piece" theme in second song is probably his last moments until unliving. At least until Angela rebuilds him once again.

but yeah the 2 suppresion songs work like this one plays during the middle of the work process where things are being a bit hectic. and the 2nd tracks often play when your right near the end but since you are near the end the severity has picked up A TON. like the suppresions are getting STRICTER AND STRICTER..like they want to strangle you making you want to clear them asap

Just to let you know, all of the Dan Farley tracks are pretty atmospheric, so they mostly play during story segments outside of the core suppressions. The other artists you'll hear the songs of are Christopher Baklid, Mandraw, and Sound Phenomenon. Also, “Haunted Streets” is by Sound Phenomenon-the youtube video doesn’t say it.
