This a theme that plays during the story. I put Netzach here because I remember this playing for the first time when I met him. However, this plays a lot mid game in other Department cutscenes.

Thinking about it, the mood of Lobotomy Corp is rather unique, compared to its later installments. You're in a closed space, with no way out to the outside world, with AIs that all clearly resent you for reasons they themselves don't fully understand, you know nothing about them, L Corp, the settings, or the monsters you take care of... It's a very strange form of loneliness.

I'm sure it's very much intentional. They wanted you not to know all that much about the world- maybe even to think when you start the game that it's no so different from your own. Even to think that "X" is you, and not... well, Ayin in a trench coat.

my theory on why i think they hate you is because of the good old "guilt by association" since you are close to angela ingame, and they hate angela.

Man this really goes from sad to dubstep on a moments notice, I like it, a perfect fit for someone like Netzach.
