Thanks! I enjoyed your video. I grew up in Glace Bay but not of a fishing family; I didn't come to know or appreciate the ocean and it's creatures around us, until an adult. Nothing quite like a good feed of lobaster!

Always nice to see how other people make a living. My Uncle in Maine, had a lobster boat, I used to love going out on the boat with him when I was visiting, many years ago. Thanks for the memories. I remember it was hard work, but enjoyable work. I also love beer time. Good work on the video. Thank You

All of these are. This time of year. I think its May 15 till July 15 this year. We of course consider these the best lobsters in the world but there might actually be some truth to that. Lobsters live on the sea bottom. Most of their habitats are full of soft mud, silt stuff like that. Not so around Cape Breton. All hard rocky bottom very little mud and silt for them to filter through their gills. Cleaner. My cousin Archie, a sea anemone diver told me that was his theory when he used to watch them right out about where these boats are going.

The lobsters will be gone in 20 years as will most “sustainable yield fisheries” in the US . You see the harvest diminish right before your very eyes. Just look at the great cod fishery vanish. It’s coming. Main cause . Over fishing .

I bow to your oh so obvious expertise....another dolt with a 'puter and an opinion and drastically uninformed i.e. useless. Why not bring up the extinction of the dodo bird, it's about as relevant to today's fisheries management methods. Do not compare the US to the third world and Chinese over harvesting.
