Lobsters are group animals. They appear in large "Flocks" and try to take over an area. If they don't succeed the first time, it might get violent as they can snap their claws with the speed of up to 90 km/h. Especially in the winter months it is important to be extra careful around them. Don't provoke them or remove them from their territory. Lobsters are mad killers.
