I just discovered the importance of brushing my locs! I had to wait until my locs hit the 2 year mark to start brushing but the benefits of brushing are amazing especially for getting lint out.

Can brushing locks break up or dislodge current lint, or does it just prevent it. Also is it ideal to have a soft and medium bristle or always soft bristles?
