Its been 7 months on my loc journey, this will be my second set. I started them my self, my anniversary will be on 23 of feb next year. I started off using conditioner on them but I forgot that you should always dilute it and always do a good job on rinsing it out, same with shampoos. A couple of days ago I saw at the very bottom of a loc a bit of white stuff...

Unfortunately I have scalp psoriasis and I currently use a medicated shampoo to get rid of it. Is it possible to maintain locs with scalp psoriasis? I’m ready to start my loc journey. I want coils with c parts. I would love to come to you but I’m in PA…. The Loctician I was referred to does a mandatory 2 week retwist on starter Locs for the first 3-6 months. Is that safe or should I find someone else? Seems a bit excessive and possibly problematic. My daughter started her loc journey on 10/27/22...however the person that did her locs used beeswax because she's allergic to any product with glycerin...now I'm concerned about product buildup because she was told not to wash her hair yet...do you have any suggestions on what she should do and products that can be used?
