I used to go every 4-5 weeks for a retwist when I had my locs (thanks to being engrained in corporate America). I’ve since cut them off but I’ve started growing my hair back. Thinking about a every other month or even quarterly this go around.

Your locs are gorgeous!! I’m going to be two months locd on the 7th. I already have like 3 babies that are locking up. I maintain with the interlock method cause I tried to retwist and that was a fail 😂 I feel like our parting size is about the same. I can’t wait until mine matures!

You and your locs are gorgeous! I can't wait til mine get to your length. I interlock but I've noticed the front of my locs not really getting thin, but looking like they won't hold up much more interlocking sessions in the future. I'm gonna try growing the front row out and exclusively using the foam to gently retwist them..hopefully it works and I don't have to combine locs

If you have a trusted loctition in your area I also suggest you go and ask for their advice! But only if you trust their knowledge

Your locs are gorgeous! I know you didn’t ask for unsolicited advice but I don’t do products on my locs because it creates build up over time. You can’t see it now because you’re in the early stages of your Loc journey but believe me when I tell you, a few years down the road, you’re going to begin to see the results of years of white build up going down the shaft of your locs and it’s a headache to get out. Just a heads up to you cause I would have appreciated this warning myself back then. Happy loc journeying 💕

Taylor. I really enjoy your channel. 😆. You are so down to earth. I have seborric dermatis. I would like to try the solution you mentioned with olive oil n Castor oil. What my dermatologist gave has not worked. Can you give me the name of it ? So he can get me a script Fr it? Thanks so much.
@taylorrlauren5 жыл бұрын
Its just salicylic acid in castor oil and olive oil. Its made at a mom and pop pharmacy here in Texas. Its not available at other big pharmacies because they make it at the pharmacy. I would ask your dermatologist if they know a pharmacy that is able to make it. Hope this helps!
@divaj14655 жыл бұрын
@@taylorrlauren Thanks so much. I will do that. My pharmacy is really cool. 😛. I will let you know how it turns out.
