Conversation with Emi Ferguson and Ruckus

Flutist Emi Ferguson and members of Ruckus speak with Anne McLean and Carol Lynn Ward Bamford about their performance at the Library of Congress. Performing on the 160th birthday of the Library's concert series founder Elizabeth Sprague Coolidge, the artists talk about their inspiration for their program "By George," a collection of arrangements for mostly-Baroque ensemble of music by Telemann and Ligeti. Topics include the Library's instrument collection, varieties of instruments, and how the old and the new can inform each other in performance.
