Mabuhay! Sir Rene, Understanding language in diverse cultural contexts or workplaces fosters effective communication, collaboration and mutual respect. Grasping linguistic nuances helps avoid misunderstandings, misinterpretations and unintended offense. This, in turn, cultivates stronger relationships, improved teamwork and enhanced productivity. Recognizing cultural variations in language promotes adaptability, empathy and inclusivity. Comprehending idioms, colloquialisms and nonverbal cues enables seamless navigation of multicultural environments. This sensitivity breaks down barriers, facilitating efficient global communication and successful international partnerships. Proficiency in diverse languages opens doors to new business opportunities, broader market reach and enhanced career prospects. In an increasingly interconnected world, language skills are highly valued, empowering professionals to thrive in globalized workplaces, negotiate international deals and drive innovation.

Mabuhay! These are the 3 things that I’ve learned about Local and Global Culture. Stories passed down through generations are the heart of local culture. They preserve history, values, and beliefs, fostering a sense of community and identity. Global storytelling connects us through shared experiences and narratives. Films, music, and literature transcend borders, fostering empathy and understanding across cultures. Respecting local customs and traditions is crucial for fostering positive interactions and avoiding cultural misunderstandings. Tolerance and empathy are essential for navigating the complexities of a globalized world. Embracing diversity and celebrating differences enriches our collective experience. Technology can both preserve and challenge local cultures. Social media platforms allow for the sharing of traditions, but also expose communities to outside influences. Technology has accelerated the spread of global culture, connecting people instantly and creating a shared digital space for communication and collaboration. These insights reflect the dynamic interplay between local and global cultures, highlighting the importance of both in our increasingly interconnected world.

Goodmorning sir, mabuhay! This are the 3 things that I've learned about Local and Global Culture Local culture is personal and rooted It's the language we speak, the festivals we celebrate, and the food we eat, all shaped by the places and people around us. It's what connects us to our communities and gives us a sense of identity and belonging. Global culture connects us, but can blur differences: Through technology and media, we’re exposed to trends, music, and ideas from all corners of the world. This global culture creates shared experiences, but sometimes it can overshadow the unique aspects of local cultures. Cultures blend and evolve; As people travel, trade, and share ideas, local cultures don't just stay the same-they adapt. Global culture influences local traditions, and in turn, local culture leaves its mark on global trends, creating a rich mix that’s constantly evolving.

GOOD EVER SIR. This are the things I've learned in this video. Globalization has facilitated the exchange of ideas, values, goods, and media across borders, leading to the spread of popular culture elements such as music, films, fashion trends, and digital technology. This interconnectedness has allowed people from different parts of the world to engage with and enjoy a wide range of cultural products, fostering a sense of shared experiences and interconnectedness. Local culture may be found in our connections with our surroundings and creative expressions, in the past and present social challenges of our community, and in the tales of our ancestors. Local culture gives rural communities and their citizens a feeling of identity. We can find shared beliefs, customs, and understandings necessary for enhancing wellbeing through this identity. Global Culture People can either preserve their local identities within their countries or assimilate into a global culture thanks to globalization. It has fueled the growth of global production and trade, fostering economic development while forcing countries to strike a balance between localization and globalization. Lastly, I also learned about the five distinct scapes of globalization-ethnoscapes, technoscapes, ideascapes, financescapes.

Mabuhay! Sir Rene Japitana. These are the three things I've learned from the lecture. the three things i've learned about the three different theories of Local Culture, Global culture, Industrialization and Economic growth is Local culture refers to the unique customs, traditions, and social practices that characterize a specific community or region, influencing its identity and way of life. Global culture encompasses the shared experiences, values, and practices that transcend national boundaries, often facilitated by technology and communication, leading to a more interconnected world. Lastly, Industrialization is the process of transforming economies from agrarian-based to manufacturing-based systems, which typically drives economic growth through increased productivity and innovation.

Good day sir Rene The 3 things I've learned from this video First, local culture is everywhere. It recognizes that people's daily knowledge comes from shared life experiences and information transmitted to them by family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Second, ethnoscape refers to the movement of people or human migration, the flow of people across boundaries. For examples, refugees, immigrants, student studying abroad, tourists and etc. Lastly, the 9 characteristics of globalization those are free trade, liberalization, connectivity, economic globalization, cultural globalization, political globalization, opportunity, learning and production advantage which this 9 characteristics of globalization shape how culture is produced, diffused, and received, creating a multifaceted landscape that reflects both global connection and local identities.

Thanks for the informative discussion of this lesson, Sir Rene! Here are the three lessons I learned from your discussion. 1. Local culture refers to a country's behaviors, beliefs, and customs, which include everything from how people work and dress to how they eat. It also includes everything we create and spread as a result of living and working in the places we do. 2. Global culture may be seen of as a way of life for all people on the planet, as well as the development and consumption of cultural products by individuals from different nations. And I have also learned about the 5 scapes of Globalization, the ethnoscapes, mediascapes, ideoscapes, technoscapes, and financescapes. This explain how cultures around the world influence each other. 3. Culture fosters community cohesion and identity.

Thank you for the lesson, sir. Three things that I discovered are Local culture is important because it embodies the unique customs and lifestyles of a community. It fosters a sense of community and pride in one's heritage. Unfortunately, it can be challenging for local customs and enterprises to thrive when local products are perceived as inferior to those from other countries. The practice of localizing a global notion or idea to a size that meets local or regional demands is known as globalization. In economics, globalization refers to the introduction and cultural appropriation of a product to gain acceptance among local consumers. The term "globalization" describes how individuals and businesses are connected globally, which ultimately results in interactions on a cultural, political, and economic level. It is the ability to go around the globe and communicate with people without difficulty in order to carry out worldwide commerce.

Mabuhay! 3 learnings that I learned from this video are: The Value of Community: Local cultures often emphasize strong interpersonal relationships and community bonds. They teach the importance of mutual support, sharing resources, and maintaining traditions that bring people together. Adaptability and Open-Mindedness: Exposure to global cultures fosters adaptability and openness to new ideas, beliefs, and practices. It highlights the need to embrace diversity and understand different perspectives to thrive in a connected world. Respect for Diversity: Both local and global cultures teach that differences in language, religion, customs, and traditions enrich our lives. Understanding and respecting these differences promote harmony and collaboration across boundaries.

Good morning Sir. Mabuhay! Thank You for this discussion. Here's what I learned about the“LOCAL AND GLOBAL CULTURES(GLOBALIZATION).” Firstly, our very own local culture that it encompasses the unique customs, traditions, beliefs, and values that define a specific community or region. It shapes the way people live, interact, and understand the world around them. Moreover, globalization fosters economic growth by connecting economies, promoting international trade, and facilitating the flow of capital and technology. However it still has its inequality and environmental challenges though this interconnectedness creates new opportunities for businesses and individuals to participate in global markets, leading to increased production, innovation, and job creation. Lastly, let us say that global and local cultures are like a big ocean with many islands. So the ocean is global culture, which represents big trends and ideas that connect different parts of the world. The islands are local cultures, with their own special traditions and ways of life. Even though the big ocean influences the islands, each island keeps its own unique character.

Good noon, sir. Mabuhay! Here are three things I learned. 1. Local and global culture teaches how traditions and practices unique to specific communities adapt and merge with global influences, creating hybrid cultural forms. 2. It highlights the tension between preserving local identities and embracing global connectivity, showing how cultures can coexist or clash in a globalized world. 3. Studying local and global culture reveals how technology and media spread global trends while empowering local communities to share their stories and traditions with a broader audience.

Thank you, Sir Rene. I have gained a lot of knowledge from viewing this. For me, the word that best relates to "glocal" is "Global." This term signifies something encompassing the entire world, not just one’s own country. It implies that anything connected to the global scale, such as education and technology, is seen as a unified concept. Secondly, I understand industrialization as the process through which a nation transitions into an industrial society. This can also mean the utilization of technology, like electricity and machinery, to produce goods and services that improve societal life. Industrialization has significantly contributed to better living conditions, health, and overall standards of living. Lastly, I interpret cultural deterioration as the gradual decline or destruction of a society’s culture. This involves the loss, undermining, or significant alteration of cultural structures and artifacts. The impact of cultural deterioration can manifest in areas such as economic growth, environmental degradation, and the disintegration of communities. Thank you again, Sir, and God bless!

Thank you for the insightful discussion, Sir Rene. I’ve learned a lot, including: 1. We adopt and practice local culture from our own communities or nations, shaped by the beliefs and traditions of the places where we were born or raised. 2. Globalization involves the interaction of communities on both local and global levels. It has made the world increasingly interconnected, leading to significant changes in society. Global influences impact local values and cultures, shaping popular culture, which reflects people's relationships, needs, and aspirations. In many countries, traditional local cultures have diminished, replaced by a culture influenced by mass media and global trends. 3. Globalization and industrialization are two key forces shaping the modern world. Globalization connects economies, communities, and cultures worldwide, while industrialization involves using machinery, technology, and innovative production methods to increase efficiency and output.

Mabuhay sir Rene. This is Adrian S. Garate and what I have learned from Local and Global culture is that learning the difference between the two of the cultures. The local culture is a culture that is practiced and passed as an inheritance only to some remote areas of a specific region. While the Global culture is either a type of culture that came from one specific Country that spread across the globe and the more countries gets influenced by that culture, the more chance they adapt the said culture.

The Three things I learned this video The world is a tapestry of different languages, traditions, beliefs, and values. This diversity is both beautiful and complex. Cultures influence each other through trade, migration, technology, and communication, creating a dynamic and evolving global landscape. Every community has its own distinct identity shaped by history, geography, and shared experiences. These local cultures are the building blocks of global culture, contributing to the richness and variety of human expression. As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, it's essential to be mindful of cultural differences and avoid making assumptions or judgments. Openness, empathy, and a willingness to learn are key to fostering positive interactions and building bridges across cultures. Learning about different cultures broadens our perspectives, challenges our assumptions, and opens our minds to new ways of thinking, feeling, and being. Exposure to diverse cultural experiences can lead to personal growth, creativity, and a deeper understanding of the world around us. It's important to remember that these are just general observations. Every culture is unique and complex, and there's always more to learn.

Mabuhay sir !! Here’s my 3 things that ive learned this video 1. Local culture recognizes that people's daily knowledge comes from shared life experiences and information transmitted to them by family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Local culture is everything that we create and share as part of our lives in the place where we live or work. 2. Globalization is the integration of the entire world into a single economic unit. This is associated with frictionless movement of money, ideas, and (to a lesser extent) people. This growing reality has created a newer type of popular culture, global culture. 3. People these days not only hesitate to interact with other cultures, but also make judgements.

Good day sir, mabuhay! These are my 3 things i learned from this video. 1. Cultural Diversity Shapes Behavior and Expectations Learning: Local culture, which includes social conventions, customs, and belief systems, has a significant impact on people's expectations, beliefs, and behaviors. Local culture influences everything from customer service preferences (e.g., formality in greeting vs. casual approach) to communication patterns (e.g., direct vs. indirect communication). Businesses must have a thorough understanding of local culture in order to properly customize their offerings to satisfy certain cultural norms. 2. Globalization Brings Both Challenges and Opportunities Learning: The term "global culture" describes the common customs, standards, and conduct that are become more widespread as a result of globalization, which includes the expansion of media, technology, and travel. Globalization can foster greater cross-cultural understanding and connectivity, but it can also result in disputes, miscommunications, and difficulties when regional traditions are disregarded. It takes tact and adaptability to strike a balance between regional customs and international norms. 3. Cultural Adaptation is Key for Success in a Globalized World Learning: Success in today's interconnected world requires the capacity to adjust to both local and global cultural contexts. People and organizations that possess cultural agility-the ability to recognize and value differences while maintaining flexibility in their approach-tend to flourish in multicultural settings. These lessons highlight how crucial cultural sensitivity and flexibility are in both domestic and international settings.

Thank you for this Lesson Sir here the things that I learn from this Video Sir 1. Understanding Diversity and Similarities: Global cultures highlight the vast diversity of traditions, languages, and beliefs, fostering an appreciation for different ways of life. At the same time, studying local cultures reveals shared human values like family, community, and resilience, which bridge gaps between cultures. 2. Cultural Adaptation and Innovation: Global exposure teaches how cultures influence and adapt to one another through trade, migration, and technology, creating hybrid practices (e.g., fusion cuisines or global music trends). Locally, it underscores the importance of preserving unique traditions amidst globalization, ensuring that heritage remains intact. 3.Identity and Social Interaction: Global culture reveals how people construct identities through shared experiences like global media or travel. Local cultures, however, often shape individual identities more deeply, providing context to social norms, rituals, and values specific to a community. This balance fosters a nuanced understanding of self and society. Thank you Sir Godbless

I appreciate your lesson, sir. These are the three things I took away from watching this video: 1. There are many and frequently subtle cultural differences. In one culture, something that is deemed kind could be viewed as impolite in another. It is essential to comprehend these subtleties in order to communicate effectively and create lasting partnerships. 2. Cultures around the world are always changing. Cultures are influencing and being influenced by one another as a result of growing globalization and technological development. A wonderful fusion of innovation and tradition is produced by this dynamic exchange. 3. Diversity must be embraced. Understanding other cultures increases empathy, challenges preconceptions, and broadens our viewpoints. We can make the world a more accepting and understanding place by valuing the diversity of cultures.

At the same time, global culture, which comes from international brands, entertainment, and trends, has a strong influence on us. Both are important, but we need to find a way to balance them. For example, we should appreciate and improve our local products and industries to compete with global standards instead of always favoring international options. 2. To succeed in another country, like in business, it's important to understand and adapt to the local culture. Without this knowledge, efforts may fail. 3. I realized how much technology has changed the way we live and interact with others worldwide. The internet, smartphones, and social media make it easier to share ideas, products, and cultures across countries. For example, platforms like Netflix and global games like Mobile Legends allow people from different parts of the world to enjoy the same experiences. Thank you for this lesson sir, here are the 3 things I learned from this video; In the globalized world of today, it is crucial to comprehend both local and local cultures. Deep insights on the diversity and richness of human communities, the effects of globalization, and the significance of cultural heritage preservation were offered by the Lesson on Local and Global Culture. These are the three main things I took away from this lecture. 1. Cultural Diversity The lesson's emphasis on cultural diversity was among its most remarkable features. Every culture on the planet has a distinct set of traditions, customs, and practices that help to define who they are. The class, for instance, focused on traditional ceremonies from different indigenous communities, highlighting their rich history and ingrained traditions. Respecting cultural variety promotes international collaboration and understanding. It teaches us to appreciate and value diversity, which creates a more peaceful environment where different viewpoints are respected. 2. Global Interconnectedness: The lesson also clarified how various cultures have been interconnected as a result of globalization. People from different origins have become closer because to media, travel, and technological improvements. Mutual learning and cultural exchange are made easier by this connection. One example of this phenomenon is the widespread appeal of various cultures' music, fashion, and cuisines. The benefits include a richer, more varied cultural scene, more chances for international cooperation, and a deeper comprehension of global challenges. 3. Last but not least, the lesson emphasized how crucial it is to protect cultural heritage in the face of globalization. It covered methods for preserving customs, languages, and artistic expressions that are in danger of being supplanted by prevailing world cultures. Future generations will be able to keep their community's identity and history and connect with their roots thanks to the preservation of cultural heritage. To preserve cultural heritage, for example, initiatives to promote traditional crafts and festivals or to restore endangered languages are essential. By offering a varied cultural tapestry for everyone to enjoy and learn from, this preservation not only respects the past but also enhances the present. I will sum up by saying that the lesson on local and global culture has helped me better appreciate the intricacies and beauty of human communities. A world that is inclusive and compassionate must acknowledge cultural variety, embrace global interconnectedness, and make a commitment to cultural heritage preservation. We may help create a more unified and understanding global community by putting these lessons into practice in our day-to-day lives.

3 things I've learned from this video. First, Local culture gives a sense of belonging to people living in rural areas. It includes the way people behave, believe, and follow traditions in a country. This covers things like how they eat, dress, work, and talk to each other. Understanding local culture helps people know how to act in schools, with friends, and in social settings. Second, Global Culture means that we meet and connect with different people every day. These people might have different religions, speak different languages, or come from various countries. Through these meetings, we learn more about the world and make new friends. This connection with others is very important for us today, along with having peace. If we keep good relationships with other countries, we can get help when we need it. It’s important for us to open our minds and welcome every culture we encounter. Lastly, Globalization is the connection between local and global cultures. Global culture focuses on what is similar, while local culture highlights what is different. The way individuals relate to groups is changing, as both influence and rely on each other. The cultural background shapes how different societies are recognized.

Good day sir Rene. 1. Local culture is all that we produce and offer as a result of our everyday actions, whether we are witnessing or creating. People are valued in the local culture for their aptitude at doing common chores. The folks contribute a lot of expertise to their operations. The shared experiences and knowledge that individuals receive from their family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers serve as the foundation for their everyday knowledge, according to the area culture. 2. Cultural Globalization 😮can be a factor for good if it fosters chances for economic development and fosters social interaction. However, when cultures are destroyed and severe financial disparities are produced, it can also have a darker side. 3. People these days not only hesitate to interact with other cultures, but also make judgements. Certain stereotypes are attached to some communities that still exist in the minds of people. I don't understand why they don't question these differences, and accept others as they are. Often we have seen that people consider their culture to be the best and others as inferior.

These are the three (3) things I've learned after watching this video: Firstly, I learned that local culture is deeply tied to the way people live their daily lives, shaped by their surroundings, traditions, and shared experiences within their community. On the other hand, global culture reflects broader influences, like international media and shared ideas, which connect people across different regions. Moreover, I realized that local and global cultures are interconnected. While globalization brings shared values and ideas to the forefront, local culture remains resilient, adapting to these influences without losing its core identity. It’s fascinating to see how communities maintain their uniqueness even as global forces impact their lives. Lastly, from the discussion, I understood that globalization isn’t as all-powerful as I once thought. It doesn’t erase local cultures but rather creates opportunities for cultures to mix, adapt, and evolve. However, I noticed that this blending can sometimes create tension between preserving traditions and embracing modernity. It’s a reminder of the importance of balancing both.

Good day, sir! Here's the three things I've learned from this video Firstly, it helps people break down all the cultural barriers and integrate respectfully with diverse communities. In short, cultural awareness teaches us how to respect and appreciate others. Cultural awareness benefits people in leadership roles and management roles. Secondly, global culture is exposure to different languages, religions, and interactions, which can create connections and show diversity. The development of global culture can give opportunities to marginalized and disadvantaged groups. Lastly, globalization has brought connections to countries through the flow of people, goods, information, and capital. From being introduced to various cultures and the interconnections created, cultures have been influenced and adapted to the encounters. It sounds great.

Thankyou for this lesson sir , here are the 3 things i learned from this video: 1. Cultural Diversity Shapes Behavior and Expectations Learning: People’s behaviors, values, and expectations are strongly influenced by their local culture, which encompasses their social norms, traditions, and belief systems. Local culture impacts everything from communication styles (e.g., direct vs. indirect communication) to customer service preferences (e.g., formality in greeting vs. casual approach). Understanding local culture is crucial for businesses to tailor their services or products effectively to meet specific cultural expectations. Example: In some countries, like Japan, formal politeness and respect for hierarchy are deeply valued, whereas in the U.S., a more informal, egalitarian approach might be preferred in interactions. 2. Globalization Brings Both Challenges and Opportunities Learning: Global culture refers to the shared practices, norms, and behaviors that are becoming increasingly prevalent due to globalization, including the spread of technology, media, and travel. While globalization can create more interconnectedness and understanding across cultures, it can also lead to conflicts, misunderstandings, and challenges when local customs are overlooked or ignored. Balancing local culture with global practices requires sensitivity and flexibility. Example: A multinational company operating in diverse regions needs to balance standardization of its brand (global culture) with the customization of its marketing approach (local culture) to resonate with local consumers. 3. Cultural Adaptation is Key for Success in a Globalized World Learning: The ability to adapt to both local and global cultural contexts is essential for success in today’s interconnected world. Individuals and organizations that are culturally agile, meaning they can understand and respect differences while remaining flexible in their approach, tend to thrive in multicultural environments. Example: International teams must embrace diverse cultural perspectives to foster collaboration. An understanding of different work ethics, decision-making styles, and time perceptions can lead to more effective teamwork and better outcomes. These learnings underscore the importance of cultural awareness and adaptability in both local and global contexts.

The interaction between global and local cultures is a fascinating and complex phenomenon that shapes the cultural landscape of societies around the world. As we have seen in the context of the Philippines and many other countries, this dynamic interplay between global influences and local traditions yields a wealth of diverse and vibrant cultural expressions. The blending of global and local cultures creates a rich tapestry of diversity, creativity, and hybridity that reflects the complexities of contemporary society. It encourages cross-cultural understanding, appreciation for different perspectives, and opportunities for collaboration and dialogue.

In one culture, something that is considered polite might be considered rude in another. Understanding these nuances is crucial for successful communication and the development of enduring relationships. 2. All across the world, cultures are constantly evolving. As globalization and technology advance, cultures are both influencing and being influenced by one another. Through this dynamic exchange, innovation and tradition are wonderfully fused. 3. It is necessary to embrace diversity. Gaining knowledge of different cultures broadens our perspectives, develops empathy, and dispels stereotypes. By valuing one another, we can create a more tolerant and understanding world.

These are my 3 learnings from this video 1. VALUE OF CULTURAL IDENTITY An understanding of local culture is important since it helps us understand the numerous customs, values, and practices that define our society and lay down the foundation in determining our identity. As such, it shores up our sense of pride in our heritage and belonging because of this foundation. 2. GLOBAL INTERCONNECTEDNESS Study of the civilizations of other places in the world show how many connected communities there are through communication, trade, and common struggles. It explains how some events in a particular area of the world may influence another area; such features put stress on the various countries to develop empathy and cooperation. 3. RESPECT AND INCLUSIVITY Understanding other cultural customs helps us understand and appreciate lifestyles other than our own. Therefore, this understanding fosters interrelation in that we respect all lifestyles as we strive to build a society which respects and honors all of its different expressions.

1. I learned that local culture is present everywhere. We are living a life with its existence. Because local culture is our beliefs, practices, and traditions. These things serve as the main reason why our identity is being exposed. Local culture is part of our lives, human. Also, it can be shared to anyone around us. This has a huge role in our society since it produces an essence of identity. This also helps us understand the life of people within this locality. 2. I learned that Global Culture is worldwide. It is a set of common experiences, values, symbols, and concepts that unify individuals on a worldwide scale is referred to as global culture. Also, Global culture is bringing people from all around the world together. The world's population is blending its distinctions and becoming more tolerant of one another. In times of crisis, when everyone has come together to work toward peace and freedom, this process of emerging global culture can be seen.

These are the three things I've learned after watching this video 1. Local culture is important in popular culture because it serves as a foundation for creativity and originality, providing unique stories, traditions, and aesthetics that resonate globally. By integrating elements of local culture, popular culture gains authenticity and depth, offering audiences a richer and more diverse experience. It also helps preserve and celebrate cultural heritage, ensuring that traditions and identities are not lost in the face of globalization. 2. Globalization connects the world by increasing trade, technology sharing, and cultural exchange. It boosts economies and improves living standards for some, but it can also cause job losses, increase inequality, and harm the environment. While it brings people and cultures together, it sometimes erodes local traditions. Politically, it fosters cooperation on global issues like climate change but can reduce a country's control over its policies. Overall, globalization creates opportunities and challenges, and its impact depends on how well it is managed. 3. Ethnoscape is the idea that people move around the world, like immigrants, tourists, and workers, and this changes the cultures of the places they go. It shows how different groups of people bring their traditions and ideas with them, mixing them with the local culture. This movement of people happens because of things like jobs, travel, or escaping problems in their home countries, and it helps create more diverse societies.

Good day sir Rene! Mabuhay! These are the three things I've learned from this video. 1. Local Culture Local culture consists of everything we produce and share through our daily activities, whether we are creating or observing. In local culture, people are valued for their ability to carry out everyday tasks. The knowledge and skills shared by family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers shape how people live and work together, creating a strong foundation of shared experience. 2. Global Culture Global culture connects people worldwide through common values, traditions, symbols, and experiences. Cultures can exist at various levels-global, national, regional, local, or even within smaller groups (subcultures or supercultures). These cultures interact in many ways and coexist peacefully, influencing each other rather than being in conflict. 3. Industrialization and Economic Growth Industrialization leads to economic growth by boosting productivity, business development, innovation, and better use of resources. It opens up opportunities for global trade, helps countries increase their production, and integrates markets across the world. This encourages foreign investment and drives technological progress.

Good day Sir! Thank you for your informative discussion Sir. These are my 3 learnings from this video: 1. Local Culture: Local cultures are influenced by traditional practices, beliefs, and customs unique to a particular region. Globalization challenges these cultures by introducing foreign elements, but local cultures can adapt and integrate new influences while retaining their core identity. 2. Globalization: Globalization refers to the increasing interconnectedness of the world through trade, technology, and communication, which leads to the spread of cultural elements across borders. This can result in cultural homogenization or hybridization, blending global and local influences. 3. Finanscape: Finanscape describes the global flow of financial capital, investments, and money, which impacts local economies and cultural industries. These financial movements can either promote or limit cultural production, shaping what cultural products are created, consumed, and shared globally.

Thank you and good evening sir, here's my 3 learnings about the video. First is the Local culture, it plays a crucial role in preserving the unique identity, traditions, and values of a community. It is shaped by historical, geographical, and social factors, and is essential for maintaining cultural diversity. These cultural expressions help create a shared community identity, while also contributing to the cultural richness of the world. Second is the Global culture, so on the other hand, it arises from the interconnectedness of societies and reflects shared values, practices, and experiences that transcend national borders. It is driven by globalization, technology, and the rapid exchange of information. Global culture helps bridge cultural divides and encourages collaboration in areas such as business, education, and technology. Last is Globalization, it is the process that links countries, economies, and cultures through increased trade, communication, and travel. It has transformed the way people live, work, and interact, allowing ideas, goods, and services to flow more freely across borders. While globalization can lead to greater economic growth, innovation, and access to new opportunities, it also brings challenges like cultural homogenization, inequality, and environmental concerns.

3. Such an insightful video on local and global culture! It really made me reflect on how deeply interconnected our world has become and the importance of understanding both our own cultural heritage and that of others around the globe. Thank you for shedding light on these concepts! Here are my 3 Learnings: 1. VALUE OF CULTURAL IDENTITY Understanding local culture is essential because it shapes our identity and helps us appreciate the unique traditions, values, and practices that define our community. This foundation strengthens our sense of belonging and pride in where we come from. 2. GLOBAL INTERCONNECTEDNESS Learning about global cultures highlights the ways different societies are linked through trade, communication, and shared challenges. It emphasizes that what happens in one part of the world can influence other areas, showing the importance of global cooperation and empathy. 3. RESPECT AND INCLUSIVITY Gaining insight into diverse cultural practices teaches us to respect other ways of life. This understanding fosters inclusivity, as we recognize the beauty of differences and strive to create a world where all cultural expressions are valued and celebrated. Thank you for this lesson sir, here are the 3 things that I've learned after watching this video. 1. I learned how popular culture is been influenced by globalization. Pop culture has been significantly impacted by globalization, which is a continuous process that incorporates interrelated developments. As a result, pop culture describes what's new and popular right now thanks to globalization. 2.I learned that a local culture is a collection of the behaviors, beliefs, conventions, and practices that people in a certain place or country follow on a daily basis. that by simply following the same routine every day, we might characterize local culture as something we do on a regular basis. 3. Global culture is the term used to describe global trends. Thank you sir here are the three things I learned from this video 1. Increased interconnectedness: We now see a rapid exchange of ideas, goods, and trends across borders. This interconnectedness means local cultures are constantly interacting with and being influenced by global trends. For example, the popularity of certain foods or fashion styles can spread quickly across the world. 2. Cultural fusion: Instead of cultures simply replacing each other, we often see a blending or fusion of elements. Local traditions adapt and incorporate global influences, resulting in unique hybrid cultures. Think about how international cuisines often incorporate local ingredients and flavors. 3. Importance of cultural understanding: Navigating this interconnected world requires increased cultural awareness and sensitivity. Understanding different cultural norms and perspectives is crucial for respectful communication and collaboration. This means being mindful of potential misunderstandings that can arise from cultural differences.

My heart full appreciation of these lessons, here are the 3 things I learned from this video; Local and global cultures interact in complex ways, leading to several key learnings. First, globalization fosters a shared global culture, where ideas and practices transcend borders, creating common experiences. Second, local cultures often adapt and hybridize in response to global influences, resulting in unique blends that reflect both local traditions and global trends. Third, while global culture can promote diversity and awareness, it may also lead to cultural homogenization, risking the erosion of distinct local identities. This dynamic interplay highlights the importance of preserving local cultures while embracing the benefits of global interconnectedness.

Thank you sir. There three (3) important things I've learned from this video First, I've learned that local culture is about how people live, what they believe, and the customs they follow in their communities. It shapes everything from how they talk and work to how they celebrate and solve problems. Knowing this helps us connect better, especially when working with others from different places. Second, cultural globalization spreads ideas, traditions, and lifestyles worldwide through technology and travel. While it can make cultures seem similar, it doesn’t erase uniqueness. Instead, it allows cultures to mix, creating something new while keeping their roots. Lastly, local and global cultures depend on each other. Globalization brings shared experiences, but it also makes us appreciate what makes each place special. Balancing these helps people keep their traditions while growing with the world. To conclude, local culture grounds us in our unique traditions and daily lives, while globalization connects us to a broader world of shared ideas and practices. Together, they shape how we navigate our identities, balancing the richness of our roots with the opportunities of a global community.

Thank you for this informative video, sir rene! On my own understanding, local culture is a set of behaviors, beliefs, and customs of people in a community. Everything from how people eat and dress to how they work and communicate. Local culture is a term that is commonly used to describe the experience of everyday life in specific, identifiable locales. It is the people's daily knowledge that is derived from shared life experiences and information passed down from family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. I have also learned about The Five "Scapes" of Globalization, which are the ethnospae, technoscape, ideoscape, financescape, mediascape. I learned that there are 4 ages of Globalization, and that it started with Globalization 1.0 during the 1492-1800. It was a pre-World War I globalization, which was triggered by a historic drop in trade costs caused by steam and other forms of mechanical power, making it economically feasible to consume goods manufactured far away. This globalization came with almost no government support.

1. Cultural Continuity and Change From my point of view, which stems from my family, the glocal culture refers to the imposing capacity of communities to incorporate whole that which originates from the global whole, in the most endearing cultural modes. I’ve found this in social realities including in food where local palates translate global cuisines or in dress where cultural iconography is injected into international fashion. That mixing demonstrates to me how extolling creativity rides the line between conformity and change. In current writing it motivates me to embrace a dynamic culture rather than a fixed one. 2. Preservation of Identity To me, local culture means orientation - one’s identification with the culture. I find it in the stories, celebrations and customs handed down through my own people. At the same time, I understand that this heritage should be cherished efficienly, increasing its presence due to world tendencies which are becoming more and more global. The lessons from these influences have assigned me the understanding that being global is not synonymous to eliminating the local. However, it is about shielding that which makes us who and what we are while interacting with the word out there in the society. 3. The Benefits of Reciprocity Understanding both local culture and glocal culture has enlightened me to the composite benefit derived from cultural interaction. There is always new knowledge when traditions are shared, and with that, when people learn from each other they change their point of views. For instance, I have experienced how inter national practices, which are customized to Environmental practices are enhanced if localized/Indigenized to suit a given country’s environment due to interaction of international knowledge and environmental practices of the country of option. This re-emphasizes my stand that culture is not a threat, but culture itself is strength, if practiced in a harmonious and interesting welcome culture.

Good Day Sir Mabuhay! Here's 3 things I've learned from the Video 1. Local culture is the unique blend of customs, traditions, beliefs, and values that characterize a particular community or area. It profoundly influences how people live, interact, and perceive their world. 2. Globalization boosts economic growth through interconnected economies, increased trade, and easier movement of capital and technology. While it presents inequalities and environmental concerns, this interconnectedness opens doors for businesses and individuals in global markets, stimulating production, innovation, and employment. 3. Global and local cultures are analogous to a vast ocean dotted with islands. The ocean, representing global culture, encompasses widespread trends and ideas linking diverse parts of the world. The islands symbolize local cultures, each preserving unique traditions and lifestyles. While the ocean significantly impacts the islands, each island retains its distinct identity.

Thanks for the informative discussion of this lesson, Sir Rene here are the three things that I learned. 1. Diversity in Traditions and Values: The customs, values, and beliefs of a certain area or community are frequently reflected in local culture. These can include social norms, language, religious beliefs, and rituals that are closely linked to the local environment and history. Global culture, on the other hand, frequently encourages universally accepted beliefs or customs that cut beyond national borders, such as consumerism, technical development, or specific popular forms of entertainment. 2. Impact of Globalization: The forces of globalization, which allow ideas, goods, and information to freely flow across national boundaries, have a significant influence on global culture. As people from all over the world are exposed to comparable media, this may cause local cultures to merge. 3. Community and tradition: Are closely linked to local culture, which frequently upholds customs, attitudes, and behaviors that have been handed down through the ages. Everything from daily life and social standards to language, food, and ceremonies is shaped by these customs.

Thank you for this lesson sir, here are the 3 things I learned from this video; Understanding both local and local cultures is essential in today's interconnected world. The Lesson on Local and Global Culture provided deep insights into the richness and diversity of human societies, the impacts of globalization, and the importance of preserving cultural heritage. Here are my three key learnings from this lesson. 1. Cultural Diversity one of the most striking aspects of the lesson was the emphasis on cultural diversity. Each culture around the world offers a unique set of customs, traditions, and practices that define its identity. For example, the lesson highlighted traditional ceremonies from various indigenous communities, showcasing their rich heritage and deep-rooted customs. Appreciating cultural diversity helps foster global understanding and cooperation. It teaches us to respect and celebrate differences, leading to a more harmonious world where diverse perspectives are valued. 2. Global Interconnectedness the lesson also shed light on how globalization has interconnected different cultures. Technological advancements, increased travel, and media have brought people from various backgrounds closer together. This interconnectedness facilitates cultural exchange and mutual learning. For instance, the global popularity of cuisines, music, and fashion from different cultures exemplifies this phenomenon. The positive impacts include increased opportunities for international collaboration, a broader understanding of global issues, and a richer, more diverse cultural landscape. 3. Preservation of Cultural Heritage Lastly, the lesson underscored the importance of preserving cultural heritage amidst globalization. It discussed strategies for safeguarding traditional practices, languages, and art forms that are at risk of being overshadowed by dominant global cultures. Preserving cultural heritage ensures that future generations can connect with their roots and maintain their community’s identity and history. For instance, efforts to revive endangered languages or promote traditional crafts and festivals are vital in keeping cultural heritage alive. This preservation not only honors the past but also enriches the present by providing a diverse cultural tapestry for everyone to learn from and appreciate. In conclusion, the lesson on Local and Global Culture has deepened my understanding of the complexities and beauty of human societies. Recognizing cultural diversity, embracing global interconnectedness, and committing to the preservation of cultural heritage are essential steps towards creating an inclusive and empathetic world. By applying these learnings in our daily lives, we can contribute to a more understanding and cohesive global community.

Thank you for your discussion, Sir. There are the three things that I have learned in this video; ✅ Local Culture is everything that we create and share as it part of our individual lives in the place where we live and work. Also Local Culture does not define as a low quality product but represent to an associated word "Ethnicity or Native" that is everywhere that circulates within country while Global Culture refers to the transmission of ideas, meanings and values around the world in such a way as to extend and intensify social relations. This process is marked by the common consumption of cultures that have been diffused by the Internet, popular culture media, and international travel. ✅ I have learned that the relationship between Local and Global culture is Globalisation. That Global tends to emphasise similarities, whereas local emphasises difference. The relationship between the individual and the group is dynamic in that both depend upon and interact with each other. The cultural context in which this occurs is what distinguished societies from one another. ✅ Therefore, I conclude that having Cultural Globalization can help and access us to a new cultural products (art, entertainment, education) Better understanding of foreign values and attitudes. Less stereotyping and fewer misconceptions about other people and cultures. Instant access to information from anywhere in the world.

I appreciate this discussion, sir. Three significant lessons I took away from this video are listed below. 1. In every single place, local culture is present. In our individual communities, it consists of the things we can see, feel, experience, and do. The set of behaviors, attitudes, and traditions known as local culture exist in a given nation and include anything from the way people work and dress to the way they eat. Our speech patterns are another example 2. Globalization makes the world smaller and become interconnected with each other. With this business and trade is now smoother and faster. Local or foreign products can now be easily introduced outside it's country and make it known. 3. There are 5 scapes of Globalization named as ethnoscapes , technoscapes, ideoscapes, financescapes, and mediascapes. And I noticed that there's something in common between these 5, it all focuses on the process or connection across countries around the world.

Second is local and global cultures are interconnected: We live in a world where local cultures are increasingly influenced by global trends and forces. This creates both opportunities for cultural exchange and challenges in preserving local identities. Recognizing this interconnectedness helps us understand the dynamics of cultural change and adaptation. And lastly I also learned about the five specific scapes of globalization that have been discussed by the anthropologist Appadurai, that is ethnoscapes, technoscapes, ideoscapes, financescapes, and mediascapes.

Mabuhay! here are the 3 things I learned from this lesson 1. Interconnectedness of Cultures: One key lesson is the interdependence between local and global cultures. While globalization promotes the exchange of ideas, values, and traditions across borders, it also influences how local cultures adapt and transform. This dynamic can lead to the preservation of unique identities while embracing elements of global trends, such as music, fashion, and cuisine. Recognizing this interconnectedness helps us appreciate cultural diversity and understand the impact of external influences. 2. Cultural Homogenization vs. Hybridization: Another critical insight is the dual impact of globalization on culture. While some fear the loss of local traditions due to cultural homogenization, such as the dominance of Western media and lifestyles, globalization also fosters cultural hybridization. This blending creates new, innovative expressions of culture, like fusion cuisine or music genres that mix traditional and modern influences. The balance between preserving heritage and embracing change is vital for sustaining cultural richness. 3. The Role of Technology: Technology plays a crucial role in bridging local and global cultures. Social media, digital platforms, and global communication networks amplify cultural exchange, making it easier for people to share and access cultural experiences worldwide. However, it also highlights the need for cultural sensitivity and the importance of valuing diverse perspectives in a connected world.

Global doesn't mean uniform: Just because something is popular worldwide doesn't mean it's the same everywhere. Local styles and preferences always add their own unique flavor. 2. Sharing stories connects us: We can learn about different cultures and perspectives through music, art, food, and stories. This helps us understand and appreciate the world's diversity. 3. Respectful communication is key: When we interact with people from different backgrounds, it's important to be mindful of their customs and beliefs. This helps us avoid misunderstandings and build stronger relationships.

Global Culture refers to the transmission of ideas, meanings and values around the world in such a way as to extend and intensify social relations. This process is marked by the common consumption of cultures that have been diffused by the Internet, popular culture media, and international travel. 3. Local and Global differs, Global communities are made up of people from different countries, with the goal to connect globally. Local communities are made up of people who live in the same country and have a common interest or passion.

Local culture is the collection of customs, behaviors, and attitudes that are specific to a country and might range from how people dress and work to how they eat. 2.is the way we speak. The world becomes smaller and more interconnected as a result of globalization. This has made trade and business easier and quicker. Nowadays, introducing and promoting local or international items outside of their country is simple. 3. Ethnoscapes, Technoscapes, Ideoscapes, Financescapes, and Mediascapes are the five scapes of globalization. And I saw that all five of these have something in common: they all center on the relationship or interaction between nations worldwide.

Thank you for this lesson, sir, here, are my 3 things I learned from this video. 1.The term local culture is commonly used to characterize the experience of everyday life in specific, identifiable localities. It reflects ordinary people’s feelings of appropriateness, comfort, and correctness - attributes that define personal preferences and changing tastes. Local culture is all we produce and exchange as a part of our daily lives in the neighborhoods where we live or work. 2. The global community is essential because it unites people from all over the world who share similar values and views. However, local communities can also negatively impact the global community if they prioritize their own issues over those of the entire world. 3.I learned that there are 4 ages of Globalization, and that it started with Globalization 1.0 during the 1492-1800. It was a pre-World War I globalization, which was triggered by a historic drop in trade costs caused by steam and other forms of mechanical power, making it economically feasible to consume goods manufactured far away. This globalization came with almost no government support. Then Moreover, Globalization 3.0 was discussed. It clearly states that within this globalization, the change was caused by the people. And the internet also took a huge part of this change. It just shows how individuals communicate with each other through internet or technology. Thank you for this wonderfu video sir Rene. Hope to see you in the next!

Good day sir! The 3 things that I learned from the discussion are the following: 1. Local culture is everywhere, it is everything we create and share as a part of our lives in the communities in which we reside or work. Local culture acknowledges that people's daily knowledge is derived from shared life experiences and information. 2. Globalization has made it possible for us to communicate with people from all over the world and to work in almost any nation. Another significant benefit of globalization is that it has broadened our perspective on different cultures and improved intercultural understanding. 3. One of the most obvious and significant effects of globalization is increased migration, as more people cross borders and move within countries in search of better job opportunities and better quality of life. Globalization has indeed displaced millions of people and triggered population movements that are now difficult to control.

Thankyou for this lesson sir. 1.Local culture is all that we produce and offer as a result of our everyday actions, whether we are witnessing or creating. People are valued in the local culture for their aptitude at doing common chores. The folks contribute a lot of expertise to their operations. The shared experiences and knowledge that individuals receive from their family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers serve as the foundation for their everyday knowledge, according to the area culture. 2.A group of common values, traditions, symbols, and experiences known as global culture binds people from all around the world. At the global, national, regional, municipal, neighborhood, subculture, and superculture levels, cultures can exist. Such civilizations interact in many different ways and are not antagonistic to one another. 3.Increased productivity, business growth, innovation, and efficient resource usage are all factors that industrialization brings about in terms of economic growth. Increased trade openness benefits countries' productive capacity, global market integration, foreign direct investment, and technical progress.

Thank you for the informative discussion Sir. Three things that I've learned is that, 1. Local culture recognizes the expertise that people have in living their daily lives. People bring a wealth of knowledge to their activities - where to buy the freshest meats, how to machine a part within a thousandth of an inch, when to move the infield closer to the plate for a bunt, what types of patterns go well with each other, how to reach consensus on a cooperative’s committee. 2. The 5 scapes of globalization first is Ethnoscapes represent the movement of people around the world. Second Technoscapes refers to the ways technologies help speed up cross-border movements. Third Financescapes refers to the rapid movement of money across borders. Fourth Mediascapes Appadurai wrote of the power of international media to send news information across the globe at a rapid rate and the last is Ideoscapes refers to the ideas, symbols and narratives that have spread around the globe. 3. Global and Local Communities a global community is a community of people from all over the world, while a local community consists of people who live in a specific area. The term “global community” is used to describe a group of people who're connected by something, whether it's an interest, a pastime, or an activity.

Good day sir mabuhay! Three important things I've learned from this video. • Impact on Local cultures: in globalization face both challenges and opportunities as they interact with global trends and influences. Here's a closer look at how local cultures navigate globalization. • Ethnoscape: influence how individuals navigate their sense of identity. Migrants often balance their heritage with the culture of their new environment, creating hybrid identities. • Economic Globalization: Reduction of trade barriers, such as tariffs and quotas, to promote international trade. Foreign Direct Investment (FDI): Companies investing in businesses and infrastructure in other countries, boosting cross-border financial flows.Multinational Corporations (MNCs): The rise of companies operating in multiple countries, facilitating global supply chains.

Thankyouuu for this lesson sir , here are the 3 things I learned from watching this video. 1.Importance of Local Culture: Local culture represents the special traditions and ways of life in a community. It helps people connect and take pride in where they come from. Unfortunately, local items can sometimes be seen as inferior to global ones, making it difficult for local traditions and businesses to succeed. 2.Globalization Effects: Globalization connects various cultures and economies, enabling them to share their goods and ideas. While this enriches life with new experiences, it can also mean that local cultures might be overshadowed by worldwide brands and trends. 3.Technological Influence: Technology helps globalization by making communication and travel quicker and easier. This allows people to exchange music, films, and other cultural items from around the globe. However, it can also mean that local cultures get mixed with global influences, which could dilute unique community traditions.

Good day sir, thank you for this recorded lesson. I have learned that 1. Local culture recognizes that people’s daily knowledge comes from shared life experiences and information transmitted to them by family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. 3.People these days not only hesitate to interact with other cultures, but also make judgements. Certain stereotypes are attached to some communities that still exist in the minds of people. I don’t understand why they don’t question these differences, and accept others as they are. Often we have seen that people consider their culture to be the best, and others as inferior.

Thank you Sir Rene Japitana for this lesson. 3 things I learned. - This study finds that globalization is highly valued in many aspects of the curriculum, that there are epistemological contradictions between students' traditional cultural beliefs and the ideologies and behaviors that globalization promotes, and that high morale The perceived impact of globalization on social well-being is negatively related to the strength of students' traditional cultural beliefs and their level of mental health. - As already mentioned, globalization refers to the increasing pace and volume of connections traveling around the world. His anthropologist Arjun Appadurai discusses this in terms of five specific 'scapes' or currents. They are ethnoscapes, technoscapes, ideoscapes, financial scapes, and mediascapes. Thinking of globalization in terms of the people, goods, and ideas that flow across borders is a productive framework for understanding the changing social landscape that people today often incorporate into their daily lives. - Production is a form of learning in which students create a product or tangible artifact that is the focus of their learning. Production is a form of project-based learning, production can be viewed as a process and the product is usually the end result. There are many types of assignments used in the classroom, but not all lead to tangible outcomes.

Thank you for sharing this lesson sir! This video is very informative And so, these are the lessons that I've learned throughout your discussion: (1) Local culture refers to the customs and values of the people who live in a particular area or country. The word "local" makes it clear that this refers to a group of cultures that are observed within the nation. In essence, it is anything that we, as humans, produce or share as a regular aspect of our lives. (2) Additionally, I now have a better knowledge of the five globalization scales because we already know that globalization is the process of expanding interconnectivity on a worldwide scale. That concludes the discussion of the ethnoscapes, mediascapes, ideoscapes, technoscapes, and financescapes. (3) A global culture is a grouping of shared values, mannerisms, symbols, and experiences. Cultures can exist at the global, national, regional, city, neighborhood subculture, and superculture levels. These civilizations don't compete with one another ; they coexist in a variety of ways. On the other hand, cultural globalization affects both the blending of traditions and the sharing of cultural values among numerous nations. The blending of consumer and commercial cultures across nations and the communication are characteristics of cultural globalization. Additionally, we interact daily with people who follow and interact daily with people who follow other religions, speak different languages, or come from different countries. These discussions enable us to pick up new information, broaden our worldview, and surely bolster our relationship.

Good day sir! Mabuhay The term "local" describes something that is specific to a given area, community, or region; it frequently refers to the distinctive features, traditions, customs, values, and practices of a particular place; examples include local cuisine, language, art, festivals, and lifestyles that are influenced by the local environment, history, and culture. When discussing culture, the term "local" frequently emphasizes how smaller communities stand out in comparison to more global influences.Shared beliefs, customs, and influences that cut beyond national and regional borders and foster a sense of interconnectedness among people everywhere are referred to as global culture. It is influenced by globalization, which is fueled by media, trade, migration, and technology. Sir Rene, I appreciate your extensive and insightful discussion of these lessons. The three lessons I took away from our conversation are as follows: 1. Local culture refers to the behaviors, convictions, and traditions unique to the Philippines. Local culture encompasses everything, including what we eat, how we dress, and how we interact. 2. Additionally, I now have a better understanding of cultural globalization, which is the growth and fortification of social links through the transnational exchange of ideas, meanings, and values. The widespread consumption of cultures that have been spread through the Internet, popular culture media, and foreign travel can be used to identify this trend. 3. I'd like to talk about how I view globalization. Extending goods and services to other nations is a big help for our country, and in return, the recipients will pay back the favors, from which both countries benefit. Additionally, it helps to raise people's standards of living, learn new things, and build a better world for the coming generation.

Thank you Sir for presenting this new knowledge. So those are the 3 matters I actually have discovered out of your discussion: 1. I now apprehend that "neighborhood subculture" refers to a country's exclusive customs, values, and behaviors, which embody the entirety from what humans devour and get dressed to how they behave and interact. And, as you stated withinside the video, neighborhood subculture is gift everywhere. 2. I've additionally discovered extra approximately cultural globalization, that's the growth and strengthening of social ties via the global dissemination of concepts, meanings, and values. This fashion may be recognized with the aid of using the large intake of cultures which have been transmitted with the aid of using the Internet, famous subculture media, and global travel. 3. In addition, I now have a higher know-how of the 5 scapes of globalization, which can be as follows: The motion of humans is called Ethnoscape, the motion of cash is called Financescape, technological globalization is called Technoscape, and Mediascape is the glide of subculture and media.

Sir René, thank you for this taped lecture and for your constructive discussion! These are the things I've learned as a result of your instruction. 1. Local culture, I've learnt, is the set of beliefs, behaviors, and practices that exist in every place, and it's everywhere. I've discovered that local culture appreciates people's expertise in living their lives. Their methods of life shape their characters, as evidenced by how they react to the world. It acknowledges that people's daily knowledge is derived from shared life experiences and information passed down through family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers. Globalization of culture promotes the exchange of cultural values between countries and the preservation of tradition. 2. I've also learned about the globalization of the link between global and local communities. Global communities are made up of people from various countries that want to connect globally. Local communities are made up of people who share a common interest or passion and live in the same country. The local and global are linked, and neither can live without the other. 3. Finally, I've learnt about the five particular scopes of globalization articulated by anthropologist Appadurai, which are the ethnos cape, which refers to the flow of people across borders, and the mediascape, which also refers to the flow of media across borders. The term technoscape relates to technological flows. Finally, there is the Ideoscape, which refers to the flow of ideas. This might be small-scale, such as an individual publishing her or his personal thoughts on Facebook for public consumption, or it can be larger and more systematic. Missionaries are a good example. The approach to culture hybridization emphasizes the interaction of local and global cultures.

GOOD EVE SIR As what I've learned in the video presentation is that: * Understanding how cultures influence each other helps maintain a balance between preserving traditions and embracing innovation. Global culture is the set of shared ideas, practices, technologies, and values that transcend geographical and cultural boundaries. It arises from globalization, where people from different parts of the world interact, share, and influence one another. *Local culture provides a sense of belonging and individuality, preserving unique traditions and histories. It helps communities maintain their distinctiveness in a globalized world. Local culture refers to the customs, traditions, values, beliefs, and practices that are specific to a particular community, region, or group. It is deeply rooted in history, geography, and the unique experiences of that group. *Global culture can overshadow or homogenize local traditions, making cultural preservation essential. Understanding both is crucial for embracing diversity, solving shared challenges, and fostering global harmony.
