When referring to needles that DO NOT break easily, do you mean larger gauge or larger diameter? Both were said. Thank you in advance.
@brookejacobsen3875 Жыл бұрын
Larger number of gauge can break easier. So 30 is more likely to break than a 27. The bigger the diameter the less likely it will break.

Is it larger gauge or larger diameter that is preferable, because you say both. Btw these videos are amazing!!
@mentaldental3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question! Larger diameter (smaller gauge) has the benefits of less deflection, less breakage, and better aspiration.
@payalgupta44304 жыл бұрын
Larger gauge means more diameter?
@mentaldental4 жыл бұрын
No, it’s the opposite. The smaller the gauge, the larger the diameter.

hello dr rayan...ur videos are quite helpfull..i want to ask that MALAMED said that only 28% people have MSA nerve while 72% people has only ASA for anterior +premolar supply ...but u mentioned in the video that 75% people has MSA...can u clear this doubt plzzz
@MahboubeHasheminasab Жыл бұрын
in around 13to 15 minutes in the video, the percentage of the presence of MSA in not correct. MSA is present in 28% of patients, not in 75 %.

Which injection is used.....?
@debramata3711 Жыл бұрын
Ryan. As an RDH. I used septi as an infiltration on mandibular posterior teeth to avoid block anesthesia. Being both an snide and ester. Thinking. Cockiness the best local anesthetic and an ester. Is there a coronation why it can be used as an infiltration with thick mandabilar bone??
@kushaljaju Жыл бұрын
Hi, big fan of your amazing videos. Small correction to something you said in this video - Tongue numbness is not a good sign of IANB working as the lingual nerve inadvertently gets numbed even when you miss the entry of the IAN. Lip numbness indicates the teeth will most likely be anesthetized.

when we want to extract tooth ,can we just ,only apply local infilt technique in some cases? or it is just supplement technique
@dinarasultanbikova45072 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the video dr Rayan. I have a question if you could please answer. In case where molar needs to be extracted after IAN block the lower lip is still not numb what is the next step? Add more on IAN or add on long buccal nerve ? Since you said buccal nerve block numbs only buccal mucosa of molar region. What would be the right thing to do ?

I thought they numb the area where they operate not the nerve.
