Thank you for the above video. I believe the real reason why white ethnic immigrant groups got involved with bootlegging during Prohibition was because a lot of them were poor and saw bootlegging as a way of bringing in wealth, or profits, into those communities. Jewish areas were no different from Irish and Italian ones. Of course, the dangers were always illegally selling alcohol and getting into armed battles with rival gangs and law enforcement. While antisemitism has been torturing Jews for centuries up to the present day, let's remember that, like other racial and ethnic groups, European Jews have had their share of bad people who American law enforcers have pursued, arrested, and killed. One group is not above the other.
