@@RE-ng5uw yeah, I think local elections, especially because of the low turnout are an opportunity for smaller parties to make an impact. Obviously people have to get off their arses and vote though. If smaller parties vote share rises and if the swing is from the main parties then all the better as this will be noticed.

@@RE-ng5uw Good point, that's a tough one if Tice isn't putting a candidate in the local area. Good luck with that one. @@cosmicjack1215 I understand what you're saying. I had the same problem in the locals We had a labour council and they were crooks we had to get them out. We only had a choice of Tories, labour, lib Dems and ukip and a couple independents I figured the labour voters would swap to ukip and the hardend tory voters would stick to tory, I personally didn't like lib dems wokeness however I figured they would pick up enough votes from tory voters that didn't like Theresa may. If my calculations were correct I figured no party would secure a majority so i voted tactical and voted lib dem ( even though I didn't like their manifesto) because I was sure they wouldn't win and the idea was to stop any main party getting a majority. We ended up with no party getting a majority and a 3 party run council... Tory, lib dem and ukip combination. It wasn't the best run council but it was better than it had been in years and certainly better than the labour run council. It also reduced Theresa Mays power.

Im not exactly happy about voting Tory, but Derby has suffered under Labour and is only now seeming like it still has some life in it since there has been no majority but with a Tory lead. Looks like now we still have no majority but Labour are ahead. Suddenly I feel like breaking out the bugle and playing a song in the memory of Derby. I have no faith in Labour, havent for about 3 years now. I would literally have taken any other party than Labour to hold a majority.

So I think the main issue here is the term “woke”, majority of the British public have no clue what this means and don’t understand what is actually happening to culture, maybe teaching and spreading the word of what woke means and what it will and is doing to ours and western culture will win the next election.

The term 'Woke' has been weaponised by the right because of the overuse/abuse of it by the left. The term is now regarded as an insult and bandied around in the attempt to shut down rational debate conversation. . We should all be aware of social injustices lest we become a victim of social injustice ourselves.
