Loved those old working signals. Over the past few years Norfolk Southern and CSX have been replacing block signals that have stood for several decades with modern signals that all look alike. Many of these older signals featured designs that associated them with a previous owner/operator of the rail line in question. For example, the Pennsylvania Railroad and Baltimore & Ohio each had distinctive position light signals that immediately said “Pennsy” or “B&O” on their respective territories.

Good news Jaw Tooth you can still find those G-type signals all the way up the Big4 from Columbus to Berea and on the Pennsylvania in mansfield and Crestline, and also up the Toledo line and Youngstown line. You want rare signals you need to look for the old Pennsylvania position signals, the ft wayne line some still, between CP ORR and mp140, CP MOHICAN and CP CREST, also the River line down around E.Liverpool.

Hi Jaw Tooth. Interesting selection of freight wagons. It always looks so precarious when containers are stacked one on top of another on the train, especially when the smaller container is stacked under the larger one. This is something that you would never see here in the UK as it would never fit under the bridges and in the tunnels
