A mortar and pestle is such a necessity if you have fry or nano fish! I use mine daily to grind all kinds of dry foods for my CPD's and guppies when they're breeding and I have fry and for my really small Rasbora species.

Show me a live bearer that isn't hungry and I'll say it 💯 isn't a live bearer! 😂 Awesome video, neat to see what clubs are focusing on, or what is popular across the country. We have trout goodieds almost every month at our San Diego club auction and there seems to be a couple people who are interested but not too many. But put some shrimp or nano fish up and they sell for almost as much as a local store. Very interesting, thanks for sharing!

Can you give the run down on the planting method that Bob described by using bins outside and tranfering to the tanks? Thanks
@thedirtytank7 ай бұрын
Yeah, essentially he grows some aquatic plants in a container with soil and flooded with water. The container should be covered with plastic wrap or a clear top to keep in moisture and let in light. This is essentially growing plants "emersed" since most of the plant will be growing out of water allowing it to grow faster due to access to more co2. I've done this with cryptocoryne, Java moss, micro Sword, and dwarf hairgrass and it does work great.
