Interesting seeing the TV channels operating in London Ontario. Some years ago, I used an online DX Tuner operating from London Ontario. I notice that CICO 18 uses the TVO logo. That reminds me of TVQ 0 Brisbane Qld AUS years ago using "TV0" as their identification.

Oooh! 🇨🇦! Nice! Yep, with very few exceptions, subchannels are really not a thing on Canadian DTV stations. And it is just too bad that the CBC does not do terrestrial television outside the big cities anymore. At least CBC Gem allows you to view any of CBC's 14 main television stations for free online-but only if you are actually in Canada.

Try a VPN. :) That way you can use any app or site. :)

The only real example of subchannels here in Canada is CFTV-DT out in Leamington.

Very nice :) If you do go to Toronto, you should go to anywhere in the Beaches-East York area, you'll have a chance of coming across a low-power pirate TV station situated in East Toronto ;)

With the exception of CFMT-1, there is zero tiling or aritfacting that you find with US stations. That, in and of itself, is kind of amazing.

All I can get when I go to Canada for camping is CFPL. The other 2 are french Update: I found out that I can get TVO but the reception is terrible. Probably needs more metal connected to the antena

Huh, Its strange that you don’t have CHCH-2 14/51.1 on your scan. That station could be picked up from the Alvinston tower and seen over the entire city of London.

So apparently TVO is the flagship station of the Paw Patrol franchise… You Canadians and the vast majority of Western New York get it free… south of the border you have to pay for it on Nickelodeon…

Nice to see that there are still two countries in North America that still believe in free enterprise and advertising and don’t blame it for their health problems caused by the negligence of the people themselves and not because of cartoon bear in a cookie package or commercial. Having said that, don’t do a bandscan in Mexico, all you’ll see are hundreds of TV shows promos and thousands of government and political propaganda.
