Nice to see my old house in Minster Yard. Many, many (mostly happy) memories of four years there. I left the summer before this film was shot. (I have to admit, I don't miss Lindum Hill in rush hour traffic; the best practice in the world for clutch control!)

I was born and brought up in Lincoln near the West Common area and although have not lived there for many years, always come back at least once a year. This is a lovely video. I miss the Lincoln of my youth and always look forward to coming 'home'.

What a great video! There are loads of videos out there of the area around the Cathedral, but it's the shots of everyday streets like Clasketgate and Monks Road which are most evocative for me.

I`m afraid I live in the past most of the time..Apart from the historic buildings which do not change very much you would not recognise the Lincoln of the 1940s & 50s that I grew up in....So don`t worry about being 30 you are only a youngster yet..
