Very cool channel. I like the strong science of keeping content instead of some other channels that focus more on entertainment value. 👏

I appreciate that! I look at it as fundamentals of keeping, but, yes, it's basic science concepts. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for the tips! Which brand rack system is the one that has the grey bins with clear window front?

Thanks, Lili. That's an ARS 8514 rack.

Just curious, I use a hygrometer in my plastic tote enclosures and currently I am using paper towels for bedding. My hygrometer shows the humidity is where I want it but I don’t have condensation on the sides (this is for crested geckos, ball pythons and 1 boa.) Does that mean the humidity is off? I check all enclosures twice a day encase they need a lil misting.

Hard to say from here...hygrometers are notoriously inacurrate. I personally don't use any, but that's because I have a good "feel" for it based on things I talk about in this video. You can have very high humidity without condensation if the room temp is similar to the cage temp. I'd say that you can take care of any issues with a humid hide/tray of damp moss. I just use orchid moss/long fibre sphagnum from the garden store.
