You have both become such brilliant "presenters', you have very much evolved in to true professionals but still keep your natural charm. As a kiwi I thank you for portraying our beautiful country so positively.... We need to start a campaign to get you Citizenship... ;)

Great video, as always! However this video doesn't show anything from Godley Head - looks like you went to Taylors Mistake and took a walking track that went towards Godley Head, but you didn't get there. I don't know if you're going to do that in an upcoming video. The road to Godley Head is different to the road to Taylors' Mistake. To get to Godley Head you continue around that big bend in Sumner where you parked your car (just past Hollywood Cinema) and staying on that main road (not turning off to the left as you did to go to Taylors Mistake) you end up climbing up the hill to Summit Road, and take a left turn out to Godley Head where there is a DOC campground and gun emplacements. That is a lot more scenic because it is higher and you can see across Christchurch on one side and into Lyttelton Harbour on the other. Anyway, great video - I live in Chch and always enjoy your NZ videos! :)

Great video as always! Nice to see the Hollywood cinema, it was where I first saw Star Wars: A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back way back in the early '80s.. My maternal Grandmother served as a height-finder on an Anti Aircraft gun on Godley Head in WWII. Her crew once shot at an Australian plane mistaking it for Japanese. (Fortunately, they missed.) Have a great time!

These vlogs have been very helpful in planning our trip in October. Thank you - the bakeries and ice cream shops are of particular interest. Have you visited Akaroa, Little River, or any of the towns out on the peninsula? Would love to see a video covering those. Keep up the good work.

A week ago today we arrived in Chch on the Tranzalpine and booked the night at Sumner. Drove in the dark, got to Motel and unfortunately a live band playing next door. Too noisy for us so got in car and drove back to Chch city to find another Motel. I didn't see any of Sumner! So gutted now I've seen what we missed! Have you done the Tranzalpine? Aweinspiring ❤

Christchurch -Sumner girl here. Spent a few nights drunk on the big rock, fell off once lol! And don’t tell anyone but had a little fire up there one night, bit too many beers and left the petrol can a bit too close to the fire!!it blew out, being on top of the cave rock, it was like a sonic boom! lol 3 am ! We woke everyone in sumner up that night, never ran so quick in my life lol

Love Sumner. I freedom camp there. Visit often when I visit family near Chch. Lovely to walk around the coast line. We used to be able to stay at Godley Heads also, until that got stopped due to certain visitors 😊 not playing to the rules. So sad so many homes were lost there during the earthquake.

Maddy your English is very good. English is a pretty challenging language to learn. Yeah sheep is singular & plural like deer. Deer comes from the German 'tier', a beast, & there's no 's' for plural; just like German. 🙏🇩🇪🇳🇿🇮🇪

No country in the world is bad. You have to live the way God has given you birth. No place on earth is bad, but I like New Zealand a lot. There are many Punjabi turbaned Sikhs from India living in New Zealand, but they show videos with arrogance, but you people of New Zealand talk very politely and show videos very well. I liked it a lot. I am from India, my name is Amrinder,I fell in love with a Ukrainian girl and I want to open a shop in Ukraine in a supermarket. Not all people are bad but most of the Punjabi people of India show videos out of arrogance.
